On day 15, haven't dealt with the coordinate towers too much but I can see them being an issue later on.

Got used to the ATV changes quicker than I expected (thanks for putting the car battery charger in the transformer btw), but no matter how much I play I still can't get used to the new controls. They always feel clunky to use. Hope that we eventually get a legacy controls toggle (even if it seems unlikely at this point).

I'll edit this if I find something else worth mentioning. 

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I would really appreciate it if when you tried to request satellite data on a floppy disk with low read-writes it would warn you of the fact that you won't actually be able to retrieve the data when you get back home. I don't like going all the way to Romeo to realize that all of the data that I just got is effectively useless and I just wasted fuel, battery, and an entire day.

EDIT 2: I've noticed that the flashlight doesn't turn itself off when you go to bed anymore. I think this was a bug that existed in old versions so it's weird that it's returned, hope it gets fixed in the next patch.

EDIT 3: I already submitted a bug report for this, but since I made this thread I might as well put it here. Through incredibly complicated means I have managed to gain permanent dream physics. I have low gravity, take no fall damage, and can fly (only in the basement for some reason). Also, whenever I get a dream I have double dream physics, allowing me to fly extremely quickly. Reloading the save/game do not fix this. Still not entirely sure how this happened, I assume I exited sleep in a way that confused the game into thinking I was in a dream but trying to replicate this with molotovs seems to have little effect and trying to recreate the incident so far has just landed me in the backrooms. Very weird, but mildly amusing. Still would be interested in a way to reset my gravity if anyone has any suggestions.  

Hello and welcome to bad weapon academy, where we take a look at the worst weapons TF2 has to offer, and I show you how to best utilize them. Bird Quest is a very interesting game. It has a lot of effort put into it and can be really good at times, however as the years pass it's age can increasingly can become more apparent. It's base stats show you a promising start, a great soundtrack sung by Dankboi68 (the IShowArmor guy), an interesting gameplay loop, and memorable characters. Wow what can be the downsides- 2 scenes with racist jokes towards black people... ERM.... ERM... ERRRRRRRRRM!!!!!! Also I don't get the fire emblem references :(

So how do we fix it? Replace all mention of black people with Jelly Donuts and or Weapon Reskins, change the names of the characters to funnier ones, and let me festivize it and we can call it a day.

I gotta be honest, I love votv a lot but these controls are just not it man. I never really had an issue with the old controls but these new ones just feel clunky. I can at least understand getting rid of the old action menu even if I don't agree with it, but the changes to holding objects and throwing and especially the flashlight just kinda baffle me. No shade to the devs but I was really excited to try out 0.9.0 and I know this is still a testing build but now I kinda just wanna go back to 0.8, and I haven't even gotten to the new content yet. Idk I never really had an issue with the old controls but now I'm just left feeling disappointed I guess?

Really cool game, excited to see where you take it next.

The gameplay was okay, but I feel like the style could be improved a lot. I really like the main design for the character and sprites for them, but everything else just felt really out of place. It's important to make sure all the assets look right together, and also in my experience it is generally a lot better to make different sprites rather than scale down existing ones. I'm guessing that a lot of the art was taken from asset packs so I'm willing to give it a pass, but in future games please give more time to the style/presentation of the game.

As a side note, it's a generally good idea for indie platformers to have some sort of main mechanic or gimmick that isn't seen anywhere else, even something small could make the game feel more special.

I really hope you revisit this game however as I feel like it could become something special, and it can definitely be improved from what it is now!

REALLY good idea for a game! I like gameplay a lot and only have a few small issues with it. I feel like there should be a counter displaying how many cells of each type you have as it can be kinda hard to tell sometimes. I also feel like the difficulty should increase a bit more after a while. However these are only a few small gripes, I really enjoyed this game a lot and if in the future if you're looking on something to turn into a more a bigger and more polished title, you should really look into expanding this into a full release!

This is REALLY good. The style of this game is just amazing. The music and animations you made for the game are really good. A small thing I liked that the sound effect for the base gun are in key with the music.

The map can get a bit confusing though, and the feedback you get for breaking blocks and vines is a bit lacking (especially since it feels like whether or not they actually get destroyed is random).

On the other hand, the way you handled the gimmick of the game was really clever.

The ending was really good too btw, I don't wanna spoil it but if you played the game you know what I mean.

Overall, a really good submission and I'm shocked that it took you only 48 hours to make it!

Hey just as a note, please export your game before submitting. You submitted the entire godot project which both is unplayable without owning godot and has all the code and assets just sitting in the open.

EDIT: On further inspection I'm 99% sure the game is just completely unplayable in this state as it also lacks any assets.
