Looking for Developers & 3D Artists — Dinosaur Hunting FPS
Hello everybody! I have a pretty cool game idea inspired by the 1999 FPS Carnivores 2.
I don't currently have any development skills, so I'm looking for people who might be interested in helping turn the idea into an actual game.
The idea
The game would be a full 3D dinosaur-hunting FPS set on a mysterious planet where dinosaurs have been discovered.
The basic gameplay loop would involve:
Hunting different species of dinosaurs
Earning points from kills
Unlocking new dinosaurs and weapons as you progress
Exploring 3D environments while tracking and hunting dinosaurs
Having a mixture of realistic hunting weapons and more unrealistic/fun choices
Weapons could include standard hunting rifles and other firearms, alongside more exaggerated options such as a rotary machine gun/minigun or AK-47.
I'm not expecting the game to have AAA-quality graphics. I'm mainly interested in making something fun that captures the atmosphere and gameplay of classic dinosaur-hunting games.
