Hi, first of all i think the game is pretty fun compared to its current stage, and it will be interesting to see what it would become.

Here are my main issues:

The player is way too slow and feels too heavy.

The machine gun doesnt have a sound, and the player is still being rotated even while controlling the machine gun.

Also the advanced options button doesnt do anything

Things i liked:

The sfx are nice.

The weapons feel good, including the machine gun (that is missing sound).

Destructible objects are an excellent addition.

The game has a long way to go, but i see the potential. good luck.

Hi, ive played a couple of levels, here are some thoughts:

First of all, i like the pixel art its pretty nice.

Secondly, i know the game is in an early stage, but the combat and level design are very lackluster.

The player's hits feel unresponsive, combat encounters feel very awkward, and the combat overall needs a lot of 'juice'.

The levels are pretty boring and the bonfires are a bit unclear at the start.

The movement will need more refinement, but at this stage its probably decent.

Also ive noticed the environment (bushes, trees, etc.) occasionally has some visual glitches when the player is moving, probably due to some problem with the camera and pixel perfect settings.

Overall though, i think this game could become something pretty cool.

Hi, i did 3 runs, here are my thoughts:

I dont think there was an exact second where it stopped being fun because i didnt really feel anything strong during the game. The whole experience feels flat, probably due to a couple of reasons:

I didnt feel any sense of danger, there isnt any actual constraint or risk to the player because the notes just keep filling up endlessly and the enemy doesnt pose a big threat.

Additionally, i think the game should feel a lot more atmospheric, and its a bit strange that there are two meters essentially representing the same thing (the notes top left bar and the sing bottom right circle).

I think the game has potential and could shape up to be very interesting, good luck.

fun concept

pretty fun, i love this kind of humor

Thats an amazing concept. I also liked the music and pixel art, and the opening part was pretty cool.

I would probably add an indication for the spaceships of which direction they are going, and make the spaceships more visually distinct than the player's spaceship.

Other than that, i think thats a great submission.

First of all, sick cover art.

My main notes are:

The indicator of the current height you are in is barely noticeable.

The hazardous objects are really hard to tell at first.

The game could greatly benefit from additional air movement abilities, even a simple air dash would have been really helpful.

Other than that, i really liked it.
