I was mainly thinking about another comment saying that it would have been nice to have more instructions before the mini games I think, and I think it would maybe be a bit too much adding the instructions that you wrote in the description into the game and breaking the discovery. A UI that's a bit clearer / readable would be more effective and funny than reading instructions (but that may just be me, I hate reading instructions ahah).
I made my girlfriend play your game yesterday (not a huge gamer) and she loved it !
Yeah some games are juste crazy and so polished, it's insane. It's my first jam and I'm loving discovering all the other games !
I found that it was too much information before even launching the game, it was hard to get the point. I think it was part of the fun to discover the different bottle effects etc.
But in a jam context it makes sense. maybe ? But directly in the game it would cut on the mood I think. But I'm no game designer, it was just a quick thought.
Have a great day too, and a nice jam play test week ! Cheers
I was a bit frustrated at first, after some freezes and hard to understand UI (at first, then it was clear as watermelon). I've now been playing the game for 1h, and got everything ( I think) that was in. I loved it !
The most useful instruction is A and D to move I'd say, I don't think you need a lot more, the rest is quickly understandable. Just the UI that made it a bit confusing because it was hard to read / decypher at first.
Loved the goofyness, the voice acting, the god damn DOG, lots of love to Mila <3 and good job to you !
