And I'm so excited to see what you have in store for us!!

I'm also grateful you enjoyed the video. It was a lot of fun to make XD

HelloOooOO,

I put in the video a few suggestions at the end, but honestly i don't think they're very good ideas hahaa.

Idea 1) Being able to hide under certain objects (I tried to hide under a starfish and I couldn't aAaAAAAaaa) I think it would be nice to have something like that, though maybe have a duration for how long you can be under there for. Either that or we have the option to bury ourselves? Afterall, turtles apparently do this anyway to hide form predators

Idea 2) Adding a few little rivers that go towards the sea. This may be able to give you an option to swim (maybe holding spacebar dives the turtle instead of jumping like on land, or just have them jump out the water a lil) Obviously you can have different mobs that are in the river that are hunting you too so that neither land or the river is safe. Alligators and river otters naturally hunt lil turtles, plus seagulls can technically dive into the water too. 'Pick your poison' kinda thing.

Idea 3) Different weather options. Instead of having animals or other creatures attack our little guy, having stuff like storms or wind blow them slightly further from the sea - which may also interfere with other creatures mind you - may be fun. However, I would understand if this is hard to code ;-;

Still, having to dodge a lightning bolt or need to sometimes take time to hide from the blistering sun would be interesting.

Regardless, I think you can tell I had a lot of fun playing the game. Please continue developing it, I think it's a very good game idea with incredible potential!!!

Of course!! I love these kind of games, so please keep doing what you love and I'll keep loving what you do :D

HellooooOooO,

I think I absolutely fell in love with the art style of this game. This has great potential (I think at least hehe)

(1 edit)

No worriesss <3!! I am looking forward to uploading the rest as well! :D

I DID A THINNGG

I've actually played the entire game, and I have to say it was very fun. I came into this game with only the logo's face as a hint that this had a horror aspect to it, and oh my god it scared me.

This video only shows a lil snippet of the recording, but I promise to upload the rest over time. Otherwise, thank you for making this game...

And I'm sorry that it took me 3 years to find it :')

(I just re-uploaded the first and second video to edit a few things, everything else should be the same hheehe)

Helllooo

They say it's better late than never, but uh... I am really late. My bad. I actually played this game on steam but I think itch.io comments are more interactable for the game creators so I prefer commenting here.

Anyway, I had a lot of fun with this game. I noticed on steam that there were a few negative comments (but mostly positive), and I just wanted to say that I thought the concept of the game was very nice, the characters and dialogue were interesting and funny, and I LOVED the feature where you could skip the dialogue you already read without accidentally clicking an option like "take" or "don't take". Basically, I like this game and the lil mechanics :)

The biggest thing that would make this game better would be having a lil bit of background music, but then again that's just my opinion. However, If you were going for a game where it just has sound effects instead of a constant melody then I think you've done a good job.

I am 7 years late to this game, but I am glad that I stumbled upon it. I know my suggestions will not really do anything more since you've definitely moved onto other projects, but regardless, thank you for making this game :]

Also... how do I pronounce the main characters name? I'm an idiot hahaaa

Yess, thanks for making the game!!

I recall the first night of protection, I think I just got confused with the napping and the nights carrying over hahaa. Very nice to know about the cooldowns though, thank you for that lil tip :]

YOU HAVE MORE ART??? HELLL YEAHHHHH!!!!!

HellooOOOooOoOo

The creatures in this game were SO COOL TO LOOK AT!!! I hope my face gives that away during the gameplay because OH MA GAH! They were very well drawn!!!

I'm releasing 3 videos altogether over the next few days since I wanted to split up the gameplay, but I liked it enough to play it all in 1 sitting.

Maybe a lil secret easter egg would be cool in the full game, though you probably already decided to do that hahaa. Otherwise thank you for making this game it was very fun. The dialogue was completely up my alley :D

Thank You <3!! Your art is amazing :D

HelloooOoOOo.

This game's art style looked really interesting and drew me in to wanting to play and record it. If your aim was to creep me out, you did a great job XD. I definitely found it fun to play as well! (Viktor has a way with words)

I'm gonna upload the remaining 2 videos over the next couple days. Feel free to watch them (obviously optional hahaa).

Thank you so much!! I had such a great time playing and can definitely say I'll keep making videos hahahaa. Super psyched about any future projects you do, especially if they're as good as this one!! :]

Yeah okay. I'm really grateful that there are checkpoints per battery. Thank goodness. Otherwise yeah okay thanks for the tips :]

Hey Wyind. I started a series about the game and had no idea just how good of a game this really was. I've completed playing it now (all in 1 sitting. Crazy!!) and plan on releasing a video daily over the remainder of the week. All in all this game is extremely underrated and the humour was absolutely amazing :D

Helloooooo.

I wasn't able to actually finish the game (I think I just suck), but I thought it'd be interesting to point out my reactions anyway. The jump scares really got to me!

I realised afterwards that the battery just needs to go green (I'm an idiot). Other then that, Any tips on beating the game?

Hahahaaa, thank you thank you, I'm really grateful that you liked it!! I hope the other videos are just as good in your eyes, but I'll let you be the judge of that. The game becomes even better later on afterall :))

Hii. So uh, I literally saw this game a few days ago and thought it would be really fun to record... and I was right. Muahaha

I apolagise in advance for my awful reading throughout the videos. I've actually finished the game and will be posting daily over the week. Just wanted to say I had an absolute blast playing it, and I thought it would be nice to share my dumb reactions with the creator of the game :)

Oh yeah, I definitely plan on playing more indie games from itch.io!! I use YouTube as a way to play them with the feeling like other people are watching me so it's a guarentee that I'll be posting more of them in the future!

God damn examsssss.

Ah well, I'd love to play the game either way. I understand first release games always have a few bugs here and there but isn't that also what make games fun to play? I've followed your account so hopefully I'll be notified when it's up :)))

Good luck with your exams!!!

This was a fun game to play. I hope you don't mind the dumb voices I did for the characters in the game.

I'm super late to playing this game but regardless I thought it was a blast. If there are any future games made by you that are funny but also creepy then I'll be super psyched to play them too!! :D

No Worries :D

I actually really enjoyed this game. It's a shame I didn't see all of the dollhouse but the concept of game was enough to scare me anyway. Thank you for making this game :)

Honestly love the art style and concept of pixel horror games, but trying to know what to do once I've gotten outside has really killed my motivation to play this game.

I spent a good 20 minutes going over the entire level clicking everything to get even an ounce of a clue about what to next and found nothing. You've also labelled this as "No generative AI was used" yet the photographs taken at the beginning of the game feature people with obvious deformities when being generated - usually a side effect of using AI.

I'd still finish the game if I knew the next step, and maybe I'm just an idiot, but I just don't get it.

Thank you, thank you!!! What can I say, I enjoyed the game, and I'm very happy you enjoyed my reaction too! :D

(1 edit)

I actually came across this game and decided to make a video of it. I didn't read anything on this page beforehand so don't mind the confusion haha

This was a super fun game. Took me much longer than 45 minutes honestly, but it had a lot of suspense after passing the halfway mark :)
