This is fantastic, thank you so much!

Oids is easily my favourite game on the Atari ST - I spent hundreds of hours playing this in my (misspent?) youth, and even created my own (rubbish) galaxies.

I'm loving the PC version and also really impressed that you have it running on so many systems.

As with your enhanced Ruff 'n' Tumble, this is excellent.  Takes what I've always considered to be a decent game and makes it so much more enjoyable (largely thanks to the zoomed out view).  Adding achievements to these remasters (as I like to think of them) is just the icing on the cake.

Very much looking forward to Zeewolf, and would like suggest James Pond 2 (and 3, which I love despite its flaws) as a potential future candidate for the same treatment.

Thank you once again!

This is incredible.  Ruff 'n' Tumble is my favourite Amiga platformer, and to be able to play such a well crafted enhanced version is a dream.

Thank you so much for this!

Nice - thank you - I can confirm it's now full screen with no virus warning.

However, when loading the game it now displays the "Game Over" screen for a few seconds after the Space-Time logo, before going to the main menu.

I've had more of a proper play now and first of all - well done on an excellent game that totally retains the feel of Cybernoid.  It's still brutally hard but you get that little further each time, and learn how best to tackle each screen.  Great stuff.

My only suggestions for improvement at the moment would be: (a) a high score table, or at least something that displays your highest score during that play session, and (b) is it possible to have a full screen toggle?  It's fine in a window but I do prefer the immersion of full screen.

Yes it's Windows Defender.  I got around it by temporarily adding the .zip extension as an exclusion to the Virus & threat protection settings, and it then kept the download.  I have unzipped and run it and everything is fine.  I had a very quick blast and it looks great - will give it a proper go soon.

This looks really cool but unfortunately Windows is reporting Virus Found after the download.  I would imagine this is a false positive but obviously don't want to take the risk without checking with you.

I have the same setup so it would be much appreciated if possible, but either way thank you jotd for another excellent conversion!

Agreed!  I love the original and have played it on and off for 40 years (!) but this has so many improvements that it has become my go-to version.  Maybe I'll actually be able to complete this one!  (I also prefer the Black Edition)

This is absolutely fantastic!  I've only properly played the extra levels so far, which are fiendishly designed, and loving every moment of it.

It's brilliant that each mode (original/extra/mixed) has it's own music - and especially that the extra levels have the "Technician Ted" music!

This is my favourite kind of remake - it has the original game but then builds on it with new content and features.  If you enjoy 8-bit platformers then I can't recommend this highly enough.

Thanks Mike!

Can anyone confirm if Head over Heels runs on CSpect?  There was mention of it below (someone trying to get it running) but no confirmation they succeeded.  Thanks!

Excellent; all good now, thank you.

Also, I have completed the game 100%!  So many great ideas mixed in with the core shoot-em-up, it was a treat to see what each level brought.  I'll still enjoy competing for scores and the ultimate challenge - completing all levels in one go!

Many thanks - I just downloaded the new version and the Monty Python cassette works - yay!  I’m still getting the Flappy Horace sound bug though?

[EDIT] In Pop Goes Horace, the game locked up (sort of; the animations were still working and I could pause and quit) when Horace fell in the water.  There was a splash sound effect, Horace vanished, but then the game didn’t progress in any way.

Really enjoying this so far; a wonderfully crafted homage to the Speccy.

One bug I’ve found though - I have collected the cassette for Monty Python’s Flying Circus (on the Cartoon Commotion level) 3 times and finished the level, but it doesn’t show up on my game shelf.

[EDIT] One other bug - if you get 0% in Flappy Horace (yes, I really am that bad at it!) then the sound effect for totting up your score (which, in this case, is zero) starts and never stops.  It carried on into the next level, playing alongside the other effects.  It did go away when I paused, but then resumed when I unpaused.
