Hey there! My name is Diogo Neves and I am a Portuguese composer (as of most recently), writer, voice actor and translator. I do all of these recreationally, but I'd like to improve and expand my reportoire. As such, I'm posting here in the hopes of finding projects I can partake in.
Here's some information about my current skills:
- I mostly compose in orchestral and rock, sometimes coalescing both. I also like to do piano compositions.
- My writing style comes across as introspective and direct. I have a moderate experience writing full-length narratives, having written a short book (55k words). I also have some experience writing scripts due to my own production, Upheaval.
- My voice is classified as bass-baritone (E2 - G#5) and has a suave trill to it. I find it to be best for villanous roles, although I have also been cast as a father once.
- My proficiency in English allows me to translate with superb accuracy between English and (European) Portuguese. I can guarantee a work that is profusely adapted to the linguistic and cultural nuances of the target language.
I'm more than glad to work for free, as I look mostly to delve into the industries and attain more experience.
