Check the unique events in the exploration tab. It likely moved to another location.  You should find each in 2-30 minutes. 

Did you start the treasure hunt through all exploration sites? The first drops at home base.

Pick a location then watch (or rarely participate). Equipment drops to start giving you boosts.  Use the Journal-Bestiary to find who drops what where. (Or at the beginning, try every location) 

Late game question- I've already beat spire 4 and only have the last 5 battle powers to buy. Is there any more to do besides lots of sub 1 min runs for vortex elements or waiting and letting the research/building/items slowly build up?  

If it helps people for wilderness hunts, I've hit 3 separate single wilderness discoveries in multiple elements. When searching in dual-element wilderness, it has separate discoveries. 

You learn them from elemental villages (and later in the wilderness)

I have done it. You need to get 10% in an element and get it's technique upgraded to 20 

Most of it revolves around the level of Qi you have and how many times you escaped and impacted other villages. When I ht 9 Qi, I survive the beast tide. 

So as someone who is at or near the end of content (a harmonized settlement and all the boss drops), I've 2 questions:

• Does the lengthy goal of getting 100% familiarity matter if you've found the boss drop? 

• Is it reasonable at the current state of the game to get a Qi core (given the very slow elemental affinity rates)?  Also wanted to verify that only 2 affinities need to reach 10% for it.
