I think you’re on the level with a box and a button in the top left. I deliberately made it so there are no flashes, so the player pushes the box instead of aimlessly flashing. To finish the level, simply push the box to the button, and thank you for checking my game out!

First of all, thank you so much for the detailed feedback! I really appreciate you taking the time to explain what worked and what didn't.

I completely agree that the game is too dark. I wanted the darkness to be a major part of the experience, but in hindsight I pushed it a bit too far. A brightness setting or simply making the darkness slightly more transparent would definitely help.

The inconsistency between the mechanics is also a really good point. The game originally wasn't meant to be a puzzle game at all, it changed direction quite late in development, shortly after I had implemented the skull enemy. That's why some of the mechanics don't have as consistent a role throughout the game as they probably should.

The skull was originally supposed to be a "Listener" enemy. Whenever the player made noise, it would detect them and search around points near their last location. When I changed the game into more of a puzzle game, I didn't want to completely throw away the enemy I'd already made, so I gave it its own level. Looking back, I definitely should have done more to communicate what it actually does.

I also agree with your point about Level 5. The solution is intentional, but I didn't have enough time to properly communicate the rules that make the solution possible. Some players figured it out, while others understandably thought the walls were just a bug.

The game definitely needed more time in the oven.  There are a lot of ideas in it that I would love to develop further, especially the puzzle design and how the mechanics are introduced and combined.

Thank you again for the feedback! It's honestly really useful to hear this kind of detailed criticism, especially now that I can look back at the game after the jam

Thanks for checking the game out, there is a solution I left on EmergencyHams comment if you wanna go back and beat it. I really should have communicated the invisible walls better. Thank you again for checking the game out

ts got me giggling 💔anyway yeah sorry about that, it is pretty dark

I loved the artstyle, really cool!

Very nice!

I like the visuals, and also the puzzles are really good. I actually had to think! It would be nice to have audio. Keep up the good work!

Really cool!

I didn't understand what was happening

I like the visuals

Really cool! If only it was longer

It would be better if I could fullscreen the game

I really liked the visuals! Really good

The controls are a bit weird, but overall, it is a really good idea

Pretty cool!

The combination of a tower defense and a card game is pretty cool, especially for one week!

I didn't really understand what was happening

spitting facts

The game was relaxing in a way, I also loved the voiceovers! Very well done!

This is a sad one, but really fun too! Great job!

Really fun gameplay! To make it even better, adding a score counter and an infinite mode would provide great replay value if you have time for it, of course

Pretty cool!

pretty good!

Really fun! I didn't really have any issues with it, keep it up!

Thank you for checking the game out!

It's a really good art style, and also it's a bit too hard (I kept losing all my warmth), but overall a really good job!

Very cool concept! It would be awesome to see more of this game. Keep up the great work!

Good work! It was a little too hard for me

I really liked the visuals of this game! It's a good project overall, but I feel like it would be easier if the flashlight could rotate in any direction

I had a great time playing this game! Keep up the good work!

Really unique, in a good way! Also, I love the music

Cool idea, but I don't know what to do, and the game would really benefit from some sound

The game is very beautiful and has a really relaxing vibe

Very good! Especially for under 4.5 hours

I didn't really understand what I was supposed to do

I like your interpretation of the theme! Keep it up!

I liked the lore! Keep it up

I love the visuals! My only suggestion would be to maybe make a map, as I was kinda just wandering around for a bit

Really cool! Keep up good work!
