Hi, the Gradient Editor already works by generating color changes over the raster lines, so a copper palette effect should basically be possible using the same principle. You can also create multiple gradients/lists and chain or swap them from your own copperlist. The tool is open source, so extending the output to generate a copperlist format suitable for your game should be possible.

Sorry for the late reply. But, I have been very busy. Captain Cloudberry works best on an A1200 or better. It does work on an Amiga 500 too. But, the trackdisk version will feel kinda slow. The enormous disk activity is probably because you are running on the ADF file release, which is a trackdisk. For less loading, use the HDD ready zip file in the downloads.
The full game has been released. Mentioned you in the text.

Thanks! :) Since I don't know how to do different stuff on the Amiga yet (like a sprite multiplexor) - I only had 8 sprites to play with. hehe. There may be a chance there will be an update with more levels. On CharlieFar's stream, they where talking about a timer, so they could do a speed run. I may put that into the game and perhaps do a highscore table for it. Anyway; thanks for your feedback. :)
