Thank you! I was really satisfied with the amount I was about to sneak in within the time limit and I’m glad you liked the hooks especially as they are my favourite part! I didn’t even think about variable jump height haha

Fantastic art and music. I always have mega respect for a 3D game in a game jam and this one is delivering on that with style! the idea of the game is awesome and fits the theme excellently but i think its missing a coupple of polish elements the increase the difficulty a little much. It feels like the enemy movements need to be in time with the music as i would often get hit before i even had the option to do anything. I also found that i never used the jump or the charge as they felt like a waste of a move or, in the charges case, actively detrimental to stay in the same place for that long. I also feel like the UI was a little difficult to track at times. The notes for health are good for aesthetics but unless you can take exactly that number of hits I think a bar would be better suited here. Also, even the hardest of these games have some method of healing yourself. Overall, this is a super impressive submission and the impeccable character design and music pushed me through the difficult fights! Well done team

Thank you! Yeah thats a piece of feedback that i've had from friends since the jam. I think knowing the code behind it meant I missed that it can be unintuitive.  I'm glad you liked the art, music and platforming!

Hahah yeah a lot of people had issues with the difficulty so don't feel too bad. I'm glad you enjoyed it anyway!

Oh my gosh, thank you so much! Character design and animation is my favourite thing to work on so I'm glad it resonated. I'm also kinda relieved that the level design and especially he little sercrets are getting some love cause i only had myself and my partner to playtest any of that stuff and  platformers aren't really their thing. Thank you again for such high praise. I'll have tyo check out your game too!

Thank you so much! I'm really glad the movement is holding up to criticism and I'm extra glad you had fun!

Actually incredible! i hit 0000 and just kept going. I wanted all the upgrades cause this amazing game deserves to be 100% completed but by the end I couldnt even reach the shelf. Thats maybe my one critique, i wish i could move the shelf and that throw was on right click. Such a suprising amount of lore in a game jam game with an already great interpretation of the theme. I say ship it as is!

Thanks so much! The drop down is one of those things i programmed and thought "eh good enough" in an attempt to use my time more efficiently. I'm glad you enjoyed my take!

Thank you! This is the first time i have recorded my own sound instead of making it in chiptune so I'm glad it had the intended satisfying effect on someone!

Fighting against a flood is a perfect fit for the theme. Great use of story which can be really hard in a short period of time. Well done!

This has the same vibe to me as cookie clicker. I can see someone sinking hours into it and getting really good. Simple but effective

This is such a cool aesthetic! I also have so much repect for anyone able to pull off a 3D game in a jam. I had some issues with the tutorial pop-ups and navigating with the clunky camera movement but overall really great job!

Thank you for playing!

Hey! Thank you so much for all the feedback! If it makes you feel any better that last bit of sunlight is the final hazard for the whole game.  My intention was originally to add checkpoints and a little bit more narrative to explain some of the choices but i ended up using that time to just try get more levels and mechanics in the final submission. Same goes with the coin counter; I could've put in a tally in the top corner but then it was the only UI element in a game with barely any meta elements and it felt a little weird. I really appreciate you taking the time to check out my game and write feedback. (Also I love all your "backseat" ideas from one dev to another)

Really responsive and solid platformer. There were a few moments where my character would get stuck on walls. I could really feel the tension trying to find the last bomb in each level!

I really admire how many different puzzles you were able to come up with with only a few simple mechanics. It's really solid design work. Such a clean and cute game! Also hats off for including an accessibility option in a jam game!

This was really great! You can feel the love that everyone on the team put into it and making such a polished and meaninful game in such a short time should be commended

Thanks so much! Art is definitely the thing i spend the most time on in these jams so I'm glad you liked it. I hope the difficulty wasnt too much of a deterrent.

Haha yeah fair. Once I get an idea I like, I just kinda run with it regardless of how well it suits the theme (or how stupid it is).  I hope you liked the game regardless!

Thank you! Adorable is exactly what I was going for with lots of the art. I am excited to continue to add more characters are deepen the gameplay after the jam ends

Thank you!

Fun concept and i love the messages that show up in the top. I wish there was more reason to engage with the rhythm. I found myself just spamming spacebar and shooting whenever it happened to land on time haha

Genius idea! It fits the theme so perfectly but is still really creative. The art and sound design suit so well too. It's reminding me of Katamari.

Thank you! I made everything myself so that means a lot.

Woah thank you so much for the constructive criticism! I really appreciate when people look at my stuff with an eye for detail.

Yeah I'm learning now that my code for full screen only works properly if you have my specific dimensions. I also planned to have many more animals in the game that each granted you a different ability after saving them but I really ran out of time.

Thanks so much for playing and taking the time to help with critiques!

Great idea. Really good fit of the theme and executed so well. I especially like the spinning square lighting effect haha

Thank you! Yeah every year i think of joining or forming a team and then just don't haha. The game is pretty simple but in future i am hoping to add a bunch of mechanics that emphasize catching more critters

Thank you! I really did my best with the sound design, trying to keep things chill and earie, but my tools were pretty limited haha. Thanks so much for playing!

Thank you! I'm really glad you think it has potential. I was planning to add a new ability for each animal type you capture but I just ran out of time. I think I will keep working on it after the jam

Ahhh thanks so much! I think i might continue to work on it. I had big plans for adding multiple other creatures that would grant different abilities adding to the rogue like elements. I totally see what you mean about the room exits (grey on grey was a bad choice haha)

Thank you! Yeah I try my best with the sprites and animations and I'm really glad that the sheep were satisfying.  I'll check your game out too!

This plays so smooth and looks and sounds great! As a fellow Aussie i really appreciate some of the references in that dictionary

Thanks so much! i spent loads of the time on anything animated but if i had a little more  i would remake a lot of the set dressing

Ah yeah the start button is cut off unless you're in full screen

Thank you so much!! im glad you enjoyed the few levels i was able to put in and the awkward big hands of the robot!!!

Thank you so much!! I'm glad you liked the music, i was kinda unsure about it hahah. Yeah the installer is such a pain. I should've tried to get it to run in itch before the last three hours of the jam!!!
