You can use the tech stars to craft the modules and ships after you get the blueprints from either the destruction of pirate bases in Terran planets or from the engineer beacon event.
You get the pomeha ship from completing the three puzzle boxes, not the quest.

It's bugged, you can go back to 1.9.1 or 1.9.3 to play the mod without bugs

How am i meant to defeat the contingency? None of my ships do enough damage or have enough health to defeat even one ship
