They're slightly noticeable. Hard to see when small though. Had to maximize it before I noticed.
Same. Went from basically no enemies to my screen flooded at 3 FPS the second I got to lvl 51
If you're still stuck here, I had a similar issue. As soon as you place the last box, just dash out of the room. There's not meant to be any dialogue there, so he only serves as a wall. If you make it out of the room you can fit around him.
