Its fun
The weapons are fun, exploring is fun, and routing your run is also fun. Theres a lot to do even after beating the game once. Trying every weapon, challenging yourself in some kinda way, speedrunning. It could of course use more polish in certain areas but they are few and far between and thats expected when it comes to gamejam games. I do wish there were more ways to interact with the world aside from combat in the form of navigational upgrades. Overall though its very worth your time.

Everything was pretty awesome, some of the smaller treasures were pretty annoying but that was overall fine. The art, music, and sound design was nice and meshed well with each other. The TNT was annoying sometimes, it feels like theres not enough time to dodge if you hit it by accident. If it took a fraction of a second longer it would be fine. Aside from that its awesome

Heres a gif of the bug from a friend of mine

"my guess as a gamedev is the framerate is low due to the web build so the camera is moving towards the player in big stuttery steps, overshooting the player and then moving back again and overshooting further" is what they think the problem is. Hopefully that helps.

Walking into walls for too long clips you through the wall, mashing the button to move also does the same thing. Dashing also looks off when done close to walls. The spritework is really nice and pleasent to look at. The fight is decent I just wish there was more to do.

I had friends test in libra wolf, edge and chrome. Seemingly only chrome had no issues but the same bug still happened on the installed game so it might not even be a browser issue. As for what actually happens, the screen starts shaking slightly and then increases quickly until the shaking is so violent the game becomes unplayable. It pretty much just throws your camera off screen so you cant actually see whats happening.

One of my friends did see the second enemy type but this was on the dirtpay.exe as this was the only version of the game where the previous bug did not happen to him. Although im not sure if that bug is actually present in that version or not. He was also the same one who ran into the invisible blocks.

The game has a bug where using a dig site while encountering an enemy starts the encounter and removes the dig site. Sometimes fossils are not registered as fully dug up. I dont really like the main mini game but thats just my own personal preference (I think its too slow). I didnt know how the dig site mini game even worked for like 10 minutes. The  game has awesome art, music and sound. The concept is really cool and something id love playing with more polish.I just wish it had a tutorial of any kind. Everything is pretty understandable though given the time constraints.

I like the artstyle and the sprite work in general but the game could still use some work. Controlling the character in general feels pretty rough and having character sprites pop up when you collect any gold is distracting and gets in the way. The web build version also does not work. Some blocks are also invisible in lower sections. The idea is there but more polish is needed.

I think there might be something wrong with the download for this game? The exe I ran seemed like a debug mode, it didnt seem very playable. There wasnt a tutorial and some sprites were unclear with what they were and did (like the spring trap). The art style is actually really cool even if some sprites are unclear. The concept of the game is cool too I just wish it was more playable.

I liked the art and general vibe of the game. I would get stuck on invisible terrain a lot and would spend a lot of time just generally lost. There were also some stray blue pixels I saw that did not seem intentional in parts of the hallways. It could have also used more interesting puzzles than just pushing boxes. Or a way to make the box pushing more interesting. Pretty cool idea though.

It was fun! I liked the art and main gameplay loop. i like the way benching works, pretty ingenius way of solving multiple issues. The practice mode is much appreciated and is a good tutorial. I do wish it showed more mechanics related to gold, or that it can travel through tiles. Overall I also wish the game was more focused on this mechanic and had less "standard" items to choose from. Its what seperates this game from other auto battlers of this kind and I think it should be leaned into a lot more. The art is cool and I liked that there were events. I wish there was sound but I can understand why there is none. You guys should be proud! I hope you continue working on it

This game is awesome I just wish it explained more. At first I thought that picking up the ruby bag gave you a jump boost. I also didnt realize it was a ruby bag.
It took me a while to realize it was weighing me down and thats why I thought it was giving me a "jump boost" until I picked it up again.
I also didnt realize you could return to the starting area to cash in your rubies which led me to call for help and lose all my rubies a few times. The items are cool but its so easy to waste them by accident, I also did not realize they persisted between runs.
Managing your ruby bag is cool and innovative but the game has issues conveying its mechanics. It has the bones of something awesome it just needs a better tutorial or some way of explaining these things to you.
Good job though!

Its cool, the art is nice and the song is good. The concept is also interesting but always shooting cannonballs unless directed not to got stale pretty quick. If I was given the option to make more interesting choices with a bigger hand size it would have made a big difference. That and a way to make hiding behind waves more beneficial and interesting.

Good music and good art, could use some more interesting gameplay

Game could have used a way to actually let you know that barrels can be destroyed without needing an enemy to do it for you. I was trying to beat the game with the melee weapon for 10 minutes against enemies that explode when they die.
Projectiles also persist across screens and you'd often get hit by projectiles you couldnt properly see. Aside from that it was good. I liked the pixel art.

All the art is really nice, could be longer and could have more variety when it comes to the kids that chase you
good job!
