main problem imo is the space ones - as u can see the numbers on top of them are barely readable. easiest choise is to pick lighter colors (like you did with the pin color) but if we want to work with the existing one you'd have to make sure the design allows the player to read the number. you can leave out some space for the numbers, or just add a lighter stroke to the numbers to mak them pop.

a quick example (it doesnt look good but it makes the point clear i think):

another place where it's difficult to recognize the numbers is when u have a lot of cards in hand:

you could add those small numbers that most playing cards has on the top left and bottom right corners - they're there to allow you to know which cards you've got even when most of the card is hidden, or maybe just make the card i'm currently hovering to jump over the other cards.

there's also the background that is a bit too distracting imo but that's more of a design choice and after a few moments it becomes easier

I loved the gameplay and really enjoyed it, I do think you could've made better choices with the pallette for readability but overall the art was pretty good as well!

I love this game so much, can’t wait to get to play it myself (with the board!)

Such a pretty game I love it

Amazing work!! Super interesting both narratively and visually.

thank you!!

cool game! didn't understand what am i selling the fish for though :)

Gotta appreciate this number

ooh i really enjoyed this one! not a programmer and this was a fun little riddle for my to solve. i do think that the game could benefit from another way to move the script pieces that doesnt involve dragging but i understand that in jams you have a limited amount of time. good job!!

I loved it! my rhythm is shit and it was still enjoyable, so congrats. the voice acting was great and i loved Mr Man, i want him on my shoulder so that i'd be able to hear his opinions and ignore them in real life as well

I love farming sims! the artwork is cute and so is the overall aesthetic! would've loved the x button to be some other key (preferably somewhere in the right  side of the keyboard). good job!!

So cute! loved the idea and the design :)

ADADADAD to you too ⊹ ݁₊

bye bye

Thank you so much!!

Thank youuu🖤✨

Don’t be nice to me I’ll cry

Thank you!!

I love this game! It's minimal, yet so fun and satisfying to play with all the little animations, particles and sounds that truly make this a *chefs kiss*

Thank you!

hahaha I get that you’re your own biggest enemy!

Glad you had fun! that’s a good point, Appreciate the feedback!

Thank youu! If we had more time we probably would’ve added different kinds of enemies and more types of levels :) pros and cons of jams!

hahaha nothing can go wrong with adding anomalies, right? Right??!

Thank you🖤

cool gameplay, loved the concept!

would love to hear what you think :)

that would be it for today. good night!

really cool! took me lots of tries to realize what can be put near what but even there an unlucky combination destroyed me on my second day of work. the art is super pretty and i loved the way each item has a different weight and a different distribution of it. felt really good playing overall :)

700!

great concept! the art is trashy in the best way possible and the endings made me laugh. you did a really good job defining what's interactive in the first screen and i wish we would've got some indication what combinations will create something instead of trying to guess (in the perfect world where we had infinite time each combination creates something, but we're not there and this is a jam). anyway, the game was fun and i enjoyed playing it :)

there was a whole bee nest in there!
loved the mini games and it felt gradually harder over time which was really good. it took me a moment to realize what should i do in some of them (the rusty one for example) but it was forgiving enough so that i'd have time to learn what to do before it became too fast. the sound fitted the game pretty good as well. good job :)

i love the sound effects and the artstyle, but i think the readability could be a bit better - maybe highlighting the pieces we're collecting or giving it a small "shine" animation could be enough. the movement of the elements could some work too, but overall good work! really loved the wat the music updated itself based on the time i'm in while keeping the same base.

really loved the style and the design choises, they fit the game pretty well.  the puzzles were fun and i could really feel those little grey cells working. it's really polished and holistic which is pretty impressive for one person to achieve in a short jam. congrats!

this kinda took me back to those old nokia games where you had to stack floors to create the highest skyscraper
i loved the aesthetic and the idea, it was a fun little game and i'm sure it could do super well as a chill game to pass time while taking the bus/train

thank you!!

i have a mac so i can't play - the pixelart looks dope tho!
