I saw one of my favourite youtubers play it so I gave it a try before even watching the video, I just didn't really like the pace and the game isn't for me. If you liked this game tho I recommend you play "LASt Missing", it has a similar genre to Obsession

Genuinely, this is the best game I've ever played. and I played A LOT of games like these. My opinion towards the characters was deceived so much over the course of the game, like I used to hate Las and be in love with Shadow, but that changed completely in the most clever and creative way I've ever seem characters change. The animations are amazingly flowy, the dialogue and choices are incredibly thoughtful, and it turns out to be incredibly useful details later on. And the 4th wall break was by far the most realistic and different one I've ever seen TwT
Also, one rlly interesting thing I found!!--SPOILERS!!!--
At one point around cycle 3-4 where Las was being framed (even though he stayed with us the whole time) and the crowd was eerily repeating their lines, I started seeing where all 3 choices led to before going back and choosing the one I most liked. After seeing that all of them led to the usual "yes"(blame Las), "no"(protec him) and "stay silent", Las simply didn't let me pick them again. He just kept saying "that's enough. Let's go." and I was so confused and amazed at how he simply took control of my choices (or lack of) and continued the story himself. Not sure if it's intentional or not, but I loved it!
Whether it's a whole team, a single person or a few people, you did an amazing job with this game. Hell, way beyond amazing. It completely blew my expectations of the usual "horror dating sim of the week" and turned out to be something I immediately told all my friends about. This work of art is really inspiring to me as well since I'm working on my own game, and it really sparked the motivation in me to keep writing and coding to maybe one day create something nearly as good as this game! This was really worth my time, and I'm glad I managed to find a piece like this.
May God be with y'all! :D
ARE YOU KIDDING?? THIS IS PURE GOLD. The pacing and wording of dialogues is incredibly engaging and doesn't make you bored, the visuals and animations are absolutely AWESOME--and not to mention the loops, or "cycles" as the game calls it. I was expecting maybe one or two different dialogues every time you died, but it seems like you'd always get a special little different dialogue whenever the cycle restarts. It really makes the player feel special and "onto something bigger", if that makes sense. This game is just amazing, and I've only reached 3 endings yet.
The only thing I didn't like was how you lose all your saves whenever the cycle restarts, and you get zero warning. It gives me a bit of FOMO because I feel like I missed a lot of dialogue and content by not being able to go back to my first run and be able to make other choices :/ It can get a little overwhelming, since you don't know when you'll die and at the same time you're trying to see as much content as you can within a single cycle.
But overall, amazing fricking game. My friend will absolutely love it once I recommend it, too :P
