Hi! I’m currently looking for a character concept artist to help design for my romance visual novel, Twisted Fate.

About the Game

Twisted Fate is a celestial romantic fantasy / isekai romance visual novel centered around fate, free will, identity, romance, prophecy, and two divided kingdoms associated with the Sun and Moon.

The project originally started as a fun hobby, but over time it grew into something I wanted to take more seriously. This is my first time developing a visual novel, and Twisted Fate is currently planned to be a commercial game, with a free demo being developed first.

Premise

After dying unexpectedly in the modern world, MC awakens as Elaria, a noblewoman from a novel she once read whose story ends with her death and renewed conflict between Solvia, the Kingdom of the Sun, and Lunaris, the Kingdom of the Moon.

MC soon learns from Kismet, the Archivist of Fate, that the novel was not merely fiction, but a record of Elaria’s real life. She has been placed into Elaria’s story as an experiment to see whether a fate already written can truly be changed.

What begins as an attempt to avoid Elaria’s original ending soon becomes something much larger when MC discovers the novel only showed her a fraction of the truth. An approaching eclipse, an ancient prophecy, and forces determined to preserve fate leave her questioning whether she can create a new ending or merely another path toward the same one.

What I’m Looking For

I’m looking for someone with experience in character design/concept art. Previous experience working on a game is not required. If you have character-design experience but are looking to gain experience working on a visual novel or add game-development work to your portfolio, I’m completely open to that!

This position is primarily for supporting and side characters, as another artist is currently handling the main cast. There may also be opportunities for additional character work later in development.

I’m currently developing a fantasy romance visual novel and I’m looking to bring on 1 Lead Writer and 1 Supporting Writer to join the team. This is a passion project, and since writing isn’t my strongest skill, I’m hoping to find people who are confident in their craft, have some experience, and have the time to help out!

Right now, I have someone on the team acting as Story Director to guide the writing process, and I’d love to add writers who can help bring this vision to life.

What I’m looking for:

• Lead Writer → someone to take charge of drafting larger portions of the script, helping define tone, pacing, and emotional beats, and ensuring consistency in collaboration with the Story Director.

• Supporting Writer → someone to assist with branching dialogue, story beats, and character development under the guidance of the Lead Writer and Story Director.

• Writers who are comfortable using tools like Twine (or similar) for branching tasks.

• People who can commit steady time to the project and join occasional group calls for check-ins.

What you’ll be doing:

• Writing dialogue, story scenes, and character interactions that align with the game’s tone and themes.

• Collaborating closely with the Story Director and team to maintain a cohesive and engaging narrative.

• Helping shape character voices, emotional arcs, and impactful choices that bring the story to life.

Hi there! I’m currently in the early development phase of a fantasy romance visual novel called Twisted Fate, and I’m looking for creative collaborators to help build the story alongside me.

About the Game:

Twisted Fate is a fantasy romance visual novel where a modern-day woman is transported into a tragic romance novel—inhabiting the body of a noblewoman fated to die. With knowledge of how the story is supposed to unfold, players must navigate dangerous court politics, slow-burn romances, and high-stakes choices to change her destiny. Multiple romance routes, secrets, and branching outcomes are central to the experience.

What I’m Looking For Right Now:

I’m currently seeking writers who enjoy brainstorming, worldbuilding, and character development to help lay the groundwork for the game. This includes:

 ✦ Helping flesh out story logic, world history, and the magic/political systems ✦ Developing key character arcs and motives (e.g. villains, love interests, side characters) ✦ Exploring branching paths and alternate route ideas ✦ Collaborating on story outlines and major turning points

I already have a concept artist working on character designs, and I’m looking to get the narrative side solid before full script writing begins. Eventually, I’ll be seeking a main writer and a supporting writer to help with dialogue, scene scripting, and route development—but right now I want help shaping the world and big story beats.

You’d be a great fit if you:
