Hello. Gonna check out your game today cuz I just saw it in my email.

I'm looking forward to people releasing more audio games on itch.io, it's an awesome platform. The description of this game reminded me a bit of Stardew Valley in a sense, but I think this game has good petential as well.

Thanks for another great audiogame, and just because the jam deadline is over doesn't mean you can't continue developing it.

Hi. Adding music to the game's main menu when the game is loaded (the main Cane Race site is displayed before getting into a game) I'm adding later, but I'll keep that in mind. Thank you for the great feedback! As for not hitting the edge, in endless runners at least as far as I know, you are running in the direction you are running in until you die by something, so there is no edge sound or hitting the edge. You only have a turning sound when you turn from the center to the left or from the left back to the center with the right arrow, etc. White spacing has been added a few minutes ago, the "play" and "how to play" button and link shouldn't be sticking under each other, meaning there should be some space between them I hope.

I've updated the game now to only use one sound for center, left and right and to pan this sound accordingly to the left and right, that fixed the volumes as well as well as the not hearing the canes and skateboards on the left and right properly. The sounds of not hearing the coins before picking them up is intentional since you only should hear when you collected coins. I'm more used to mainstream online games I guess, even if I'm blind since birth I played a game on a german website where you flew with a UFO and you collected stars and dodged commets and you only heard the "ding" sound of the stars when you collected them, so maybe that's why I'm used to such things and had this idea in mind as well.

Hi. I fixed the stereo sound now, I accidentily chose 3 sounds for left, right and center instead of panning one sound to the left and right.

It's fixed now.

Thanks for the great feedback. I taught myself JS and HTML, so yeah, gonna fix the panning logic and the other stuff you said.

Yeah, and 3 years of application development education at a blind institution didn't really teach me anything cuz the instructors didnt know how to teach java or js to us, so I taught everything myself, from learning how to use Git Hub to how to code in JS. So yeah. And I'm currently teaching myself python.

Hi, what am I supposed to do after creating my colony? Also, instead of the color sliders for hsv and stuff, use normal color names for shirt and skin color, also make it a dropdown menu like the starting items menu, that's more accessible to blind people like me.

Hi, the encounters aren't challenging, I could shoot each one of them down quite easily. Are they supposed to get faster or more difficult?

Hi, when I start the game I get a random sapi voic from the tts voices installed on my windows machine please fix it so that the current selected sapi voice speaks instead.

Hey, this game sounds really cool! I love it. I hope you continue it in the future. I really love that you can make an html canvas accessible. I'm blind and teaching myself to code my own  games, so now I learned something new.

I just played this game for the first time through, and i absolutely love it! Since I'm blind, I can completely relate to the situations of the fictional character. I hope you are gonna continue this game, in the meantime I'm gonna try out the other decisions.

Hello, this game sounds interesting, but I also have the problem that NVDA is reading the text but for some odd reason I get a portuguise SAPI voice reading everything as well, but I haven't selected aportuguise SAPI voice.
