Thank you so much! It really means a lot to all of us as a team to hear that our game was one of your favorites! We're definitely going to try to expand it and build on the idea. We'll take the feedback we've received into account and work on fixing the issues people encountered, like making the gameplay clearer. We're a little disappointed with the results too, but we're not letting that discourage us. We'll keep moving forward and improving! 💪

PS. Honestly, I think your game deserved to win! It had the strongest gameplay out of all the games I played, and I think it captured the jam's theme better than any other entry.

Really nice art, I love it! The mechanic is unique and different from the others I’ve seen in this jam, great job!

Cool entry! Loved the old-TV filter, it gives the game a really nice vibe, and the squish sound on the eyes is super satisfying. The upgrade system is a nice touch too. Maybe the theme could be pushed a bit further in the mechanics, but overall a fun little game. Well done!

Really liked the idea of using the flashlight to fight the enemies, it’s a clever mechanic! It’s a bit of a shame there are only a few levels, and in some of them you can just run straight to the end without really needing the flashlight. It would be cool to see levels that push you to use it more. Other than that, nice use of the theme and nice art. Good job!

Thanks a lot for playing and for the helpful feedback! Really glad you liked the UI and art. We’ll definitely work on making the tutorial and the command prompt instructions clearer. Thanks again!

Thanks a lot for playing and for the kind words about the atmosphere! 😊

A small tip for trapping him: try to use all your action points each turn. Even after closing one door you might still have points left, so if you have one more point, try to predict where he’ll go next and move there!

I really like the art and the sounds! The gameplay felt a bit confusing at first, maybe a couple of hints, even just on the game page, could help new players!

Great idea, it’s really original compared to all the point-and-click games I’ve seen!!

Love the “let’s go gambling” vibe, I made it to turn 110!

Too bad that for a long stretch the gameplay is just spamming space, but I really like how original the theme is.

Nice game! It builds up the suspense really well. Maybe I’d have added a deep, low, dark tone in the background. Love the old camcorder-style shader!!
These eyes are really creepy!

Thank you so much! Really appreciate it!

Thank you! Really happy you liked it. We’ll definitely keep making stuff with Godot!

If you end up playing it further, could you tell me what you think of the penultimate level? I feel it's a bit too punishing.

Ah, in the starting level, there’s simply nothing there, it’s just the wall that keeps you from falling off the level.

I could try increasing the torches' range or adding another one to make it brighter.

Yeah, I tried to make the dungeon as dark as possible, even in the levels without torches. A bit too mysterious XD

Hi, thanks a lot.

Which level are you talking about? In the levels with shadows, there should be lanterns that let you see for about 7 seconds!

Thank you!!

I fixed the bug and uploaded the new executable, now it should work

Thanks for the comment, I'm looking for the bug, on Godot editor everything works fine, but when I export the game, enemies stop moving :(
