100% on all four reasons, but what I want to add to is anonymity when it comes to my identity on the internet and in real life.

There exists myself in real life and there exists myself online, and while they could coexist, I want them to be separate, and I think wearing a mask would help with that.

For the deletion part, I don't know whether or not this issue is actually from that due to my antivirus being triggered whenever I try to launch the current version of SDF Modeler--as I assumed that it might've been an error in the file or program itself (or just Windows 11 being Windows 11 😂), but using McAfee Total Protection, I did another test where I inserted the file from the ZIP archive file into a test folder and scanned just the file itself. McAfee picked it up as a "threat" [ti!6C7D6B7BD72A] and deleted it (in this case, quarantined).

I don't know if I'm checking the right repository for meshoptimizer, but I did see that another person had experienced this false positive where Windows Defender also picked it up as a trojan.

Totally not forgetting to post this reply, SDF Modeler seems to work again after adding the file as an exclusion.

I'm also having an issue with v0.6.4 [on Windows 11], but it's rather in the context of actually launching it.

Prior versions don't have this issue, but from v0.6.2 and onward, the newly-added meshoptimizer.dll is preventing SDF Modeler from launching, followed by this error message in the screenshot (also in the fallback alt-text if the image doesn't load):

Bad image
"Bad image" error message showing the directory of the file being executed, followed by an error status and the following message: "meshoptimizer.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc0000906"

When this occurs, the file in question automatically gets deleted.

This occurred via the extracted folder where I was trying to launch it in, but I tested to see if this was only v0.6.4 or it's also versions before or after v0.6.1. From my testing, it only seems to be earlier versions from v0.6.2.

The repository's issue page does not exist for whatever reason, so I'll provide this here.

Thankfully I got it to load in especially BFA 4.4.3 (Blender 4.5a), though everything else but Build Map works. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or I just forgot how to use this, but I remember this add-on working whenever you add sectors and clicking Build Map for any change you do.

I've been on Itch ever since I first joined the platform but I don't usually comment on things here.

So far this seems to be pretty good! Feels like I'm right at home as for simple SDF modeling since I've been using MagicaCSG for quite some time in the past before the dev scrapped its fully-functional free license (which left me wondering why there hasn't been any updates past 0.0.2).

I know you might've already had this planned, but would you consider being able to insert reference images into the viewport? I've seen Blender, Plasticity, and MagicaCSG have this feature and I'm wondering if this would also be possible—obviously not now.
