Dude, sick (like awesome)! Love the style!

Thanks for trying! I wish I could repro…

I’ll take whatever you can give me. :)

Send me a DM or email to “support at freddicusgames dot com”

Thanks!

Great concept! Keep going with it!

Sweet! Fun little game and great use of the theme! Awesome art!

Raylib 5.5 is required and the latest brew formula is 6.0. I was able to play it by installing it, but then having to create a symbolic link in the brew Cellar.

cd /opt/homebrew/Cellar/raylib/6.0/lib
ln -s libraylib.dylib libraylib.550.dylib

Anyhoo - After getting it to run - it seemed like an interesting concept, but it wasn’t clear to me which items would take away time versus add time. Neat concept, but needs some fleshing out, unless I missed something. Cool music and art!

Cute! I couldn’t figure out the game, but it was fun!

The art was cute and the story setup was in line with the theme. The gameplay was a little clunky and I couldn’t get past the second screen. Regardless, there’s enough flavor to the story that this could be expanding into something substantial. Great entry!

Really neat concept, and I like how you incorporated the theme with the dimension shifts. Agree with Tim242 about running through, but I assume that’s something you could build on post-jam. Great cover art!

Awesome concept and fun to play! Love what you did with the music speeding up and slowing down proportionally. There’s plenty to build on here - would make an excellent full game!

I’m sorry - I just couldn’t get into the first-person platforming. Cool concept, though. Agree with Choco below. Keep working on the feel!

Definitely wanted more by the end! Really cool!

FYI - I had to use 7zip to unpack this file. Windows kept failing at it.

That being said, the game was fun, addicting, and moody. Loved the music and SFX. The pixel art was great and immediately gave the game its own identity. Would play a longer version for sure!

Incredible what you accomplished in such a short amount of time! The art, animation, and sound were fantastic, and the concept is addicting. I can see this getting expanded across many levels with different obstacles, etc.

Definitely a good nugget there. Keep developing it! The only way to get better at puzzle design is to design puzzles! :)

Artwork is amazing! Sad that the game crashes immediately upon collision with enemies. Cool vibe, though.

Tried on Windows and Mac. Couldn’t get it to work even after bypassing the security stuff and installing .NET. I’ll try to load it up on my Steam Deck if I get a chance!

It’s possible that you need to install the C++ redistributable libraries. <root>\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us\vc_redist.x64.exe - I’ll add this to the install instructions.

Clever and tense take on the theme. Fun variety of mini games!

Thanks for the detailed write-up! I definitely had more planned in terms of gameplay/sound. Definitely might have been some bugs… 🫠 I’ll tell my daughter you liked the art. Thanks again for playing!

Agreed! I ran out of time and steam. Thanks so much for playing - I’ll tell my daughter you enjoyed the art! 😊

Oh no! I’m sorry! Thanks for trying!

Thank you! :)

Cute! Fun! :3

I feel your pain! I open-sourced a “smart” macOS build script here, but you’re right, you will need to pay the $99 to sign it. Hope it helps! Nice to see other people attempting to compile UE builds on the Mac! :)

Great job. So much to unpack here. Hope you’re okay. I hope you seek out and get the help you need. Cheers.

Awesome idea! Love the art and the execution. I think I’m too old for this game, though. I couldn’t place any of the pieces quickly enough. >.<

This was a lot of fun. Needs to be more clear when scaling is permitted.

Fun little game. Nice job!

Cool story / game idea / art style.

Solid foundation / entry into the jam. Fun to play. Unsure about the connection to the jam theme, though.

Nice submission, especially for first time. Not 100% sure how it fits with the theme. Movement is floaty and sluggish, but the basis of a fun maze game is there.

A little bit fiddly for me. Couldn’t quite get the movement right to where I could enjoy the challenge.

Good effort. Wasn’t fun for me, though.

Great start! As you stated, with more content this could really take off. Keep it up!

There was a bug preventing climbing with “Up” arrow. Binaries have been re-uploaded with a fix.

He climbs. Just hold “Up” down. It plays the walk animation. Thanks for testing!!

Edit: there was a bug - it’s now fixed.

I actually have that prepared and in testing! Stay tuned to the dev log. I hope to publish entries around one every week or two. 🙂
