gnomes would be cool. gnome wizards are popular. gnome with walk, idle, knockdown (falling onto butt or back), taking damage, death (maybe some collapse into the robes because gnome bones are small), some modular spell cast motions (perhaps raised hands, pointed hands, hands from behind and thrusting forward as if throwing something) gnome with staff would be good. i'm not too good at making sprites heh
