Thanks for waiting!
Pretty much all the graphics are placeholders, so Mustachio's dry-humping situation will be adjusted in the future! (Let's just say there's a zipper for now)
The freezing is an odd one. It's supposed to do that, but only for about half a second. I might just remove it for the time being and look for a different solution down the line.
I'll have to see about the swimming once I've tested it out in the intended level design. Right now it's very heavily modeled after Super Mario World, but I'm not opposed to revisiting it later in development
Thanks for sticking around! I'm excited to keep working on this and bringing more Mustachio to the people!
Edit: The freezing issue has been dealt with!
That's an odd bug... the game is supposed to freeze for just a second and then get going again.
What OS are you using? DandyFeller mentioned he was playing on Linux so I'm wondering if it's an OS issue.
And could you be more specific about what feels floaty? Every bit of feedback helps! Thanks!

I'll be honest and say that some aspects of the demo were a bit rushed to get the demo out before Christmas, haha. Level design is among the things that suffered most.
I have plans to make the enemies respawn after a little while, as well as implementing a slightly more advanced camera so you can better see where you're going.
Thank you for your support!
Thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it!
As for the randomness of the egg spawns I do agree that it can get quite mean and frustrating at times, but that's the nature of RNG.
That's not to say I didn't try to create more rules for spawning the eggs. There are some rules in place, especially for the later levels, and I did fiddle around with it quite a lot. Unfortunately the game very quickly lost a lot of it's chaotic charm, so I decided to scale back the rules and let RNGesus take the wheel, haha.
My next project will include a lot less randomness, whatever it ends up being!
Someone else ran into that problem, though I have no idea what causes it.
There's a 2x resolution option in the options menu, you should be able to reach it pretty easily. When the main menu loads in, press down once, then press enter to get to the options menu. Then just press enter again.
Hope that helps!Edit: If you have a high DPI monitor there might be some display settings you can change to fix the issue.Edit 2: Nevermind, found the issue!
Thanks for the feedback!
The dive jump was always intended as a bit of a risk/reward mechanic. I do agree that it becomes more risk than reward on the later levels, at which point it becomes significantly less useful, though in testing it did also save many runs from imminent failure.
I'll be sure to put my next project through more rigorous testing!
Hope you found something to enjoy in the game anyway!
Thank you!
The spawn positions of the rotten eggs are randomized, just as the regular ones. Sometimes they will overlap. You may need to strategically sacrifice an egg that is covered by a rotten egg and hope that you can stay in the game long enough to heal back up!
As for spawning on opposite ends there should only be a small chance of that happening on the later levels.
Are you using the dive at all?
