Thank you for playing, I really appreciate it :)

It never showed any cards... I could press the "draw cards" button but nothing showed up..

Maybe I'll try again later when I'm home and at an actual PC to see if it was just my laptop fudging up because it's really more of a toaster than a laptop

Well.. I suck at luck-based games; good thing I don't have to bet on my life... Wait.. xD

Was overall fun to play, even though I still don't undertstand what the cards are supposed to do, because while I could spend my time on drawing them, they never showd up or did anything?

I really enjoyed the music; It could use a bit of a tutorial, even if just explaining what everything does.. Took me half the timer to figure out what could be clicked and what couldn't; maybe even a little outline around interactables would be enough :)

Overall fun but would get repetitive if longer.

Very difficult, but fun to play

I LOVE the art in this game; the pigeon looks so cute. The gameplay is fun; I just wish there was a direct response if the letter was delivered to the correct house.

Also, I don't know when the game "ends". Is there a message or something coming up, or is it just an endless cycle of who gives up first, the player or the recipients of the letters? Because I think I only delivered the first few ones to the correct address xD

Ohhhhh THESE buttons... Yeah they were supposed to be white to purple, but they went black to purple and once I've noticed it was too late...

A fun arcade style game, I love the title and it's almost addictive once I figured out what to do.

I wish it would say the final score on the lose screen or make it clearer you go up while dashing, but considering the timeframe and that you did it mostly by yourself is impressive!

Thank you so much the art was unintentional in the begining and more a thing of "what do I have time for" but when it all came together it just clicked and now I don't even wanna change it, just clean up some of the more messy parts

What buttons do you mean? The planet ones or the choice ones? Because I definitely want to change the planet ones, these were more a time crunch things, as I didn't have the time to make new buttons and only repurposed the window/taskbar symbol

Same with the phone text buttons, they were supposed to have a background behind them, which for whatever reason doesn't show... Still don't know why tbh xD

Thank you so much and yes it was a loooooot of work, I did everything alone except searching for the sounds/music. I recruited my fiancé and sister for that and just listened through their suggestions while coding xD

I have no clue how I managed to do it all while still going to work/having things planned in 3 if the 4 days. It was a fever dream NGL

I literally crammed all art assets into the last about 6ish hours and cut out some that weren't needed that badly (underestimated a lot how much time writing everything took)

I'll probably go ahead after the jam and add the missing art pieces as well as clean up some of the messy parts

Cool idea and it has frogs!

I personally am just not good at these kind of games, and lack the patience to get good... was fun never the less :3

All frogs go to heaven confirmed <3

I love Alice in Wonderland, so this immediately looked enticing, and it is!

Loved playing through story mode; haven't tried the endless mode yet, but I will come back and try that as well!

Great idea, and the music is super fitting and catchy <3

After Gamejam it definitely will :)

Thank you! And of course everyone has their own personal preferences, I for my self am very bad at platforming games xD

There is curgently no way to go back to previous rooms, but I wanna add it once the jam is over as well as better backgrounds for the first room

I thought of that sadly like an hour before the submission period was over, so I couldn't add it.

And yes it's the letters in the wall that spell out Door. I tried to make it more like walls with the floorboards on the bottom and the yellow parts on the left/right of adjacent walls.

Thank you, the bookcase was my favourite as well with all the stuff added, it was hard to stop putting more in xD

(1 edit)

Thanks for playing! And it does, but it's a password hint, not the password ;)

Spoiler:

Its "Fairy" or "Fairie"

Eyyy, a fellow Renpy Enjoyer!

I really loved what you did here; the art looked amazing and reminded me of a children's book (but in a very nostalgic, good way!) and the story is sweet and touching.

I'll be looking forward to the game, the horse teased :)

Never mind, solved it as soon as I wrote the comment xD Hints and more levels are a thought for the future though, if you want to expand this game after the jam. I would love that very much! :)

This is very fun and cute game, would love to have some hints though when you're stuck on a level (as  I am stuck on level three xD)

This was very fun, I loved that you don't give too many hints and you have to get these via trial and error :)

The last level took me a while but was the more satisfying once I got it! Would love to see more levels and maybe more mechanics after the jam ^^

Thanks! As for the less text: This is a visual novel, it's meant to have a lot of text, but I also understand that it's not everyone's favourite genre :)
