haha I assume that’s level 4 you’re talking about! I should have made it more obvious but I hoped that discovery would feel interesting too :) thanks so much for playing and glad you enjoyed!

oops haha thanks for telling me about the undo function! That’s awesome that you have it :) I have my own undo ready for my post jam build as well!

Thank you for the nice words and detailed thoughts! Sorry about some of those technical issues- I'm trying to get rid of them for the post jam build so I appreciate the input! Glad you enjoyed overall :)

Thanks for playing, glad you liked it! :)

Thank you I'm very glad you liked it!

I beat 6 out of 8 levels! I thought it was a unique and fun idea and I'm happy to see a physics based game :) My main feedback is that I wish the bars wouldn't reset everytime I pressed X. It would be so much easier to adjust my preexisting platforms than to remember exactly what I drew before. Otherwise very nice overall!

Lovely grid puzzle! I really enjoyed it and beat the whole thing. I really liked the art direction as well :) My suggestions would be: (1) undo functionality (I know my game could've used it too!), (2) removing extraneous space, arrows, +2s, etc that are not relevant to beat the level (this is totally personal preference, as it can be a red herring for the player to figure out). (3) I liked the difficulty scaling for the most part, but I did think level 4 was misplaced and could discourage players early. That's my two cents, overall you killed it! GG

Very nice work, enjoyed the core gameplay!

Wow, so cool to see a full fledged slice of a game perfectly wrapped in a bow for a game jam. I must say you hit absolutely every criteria for the jam perfectly, definitely have a winner here.

I really liked the visuals and enjoy time challenges, very nice! I think there should be a bit more feedback when getting hit because sometimes it's hard to tell, but I really did enjoy it.

Thank you I'm very glad you liked it! Returning to the map screen is definitely intended for when you get stuck, as you may learn something later that helps you come back and complete a level :)

I'm sorry 😭 I have a list of to-dos once the voting is done and I can't wait to fix it up for future visitors. Very glad you enjoyed it! And I suppose you're right about the mechanics being on the more typical side- I had more complex ideas in mind but I had to trim things down to fit the 4 days. Maybe one day I'll commit to a big project for bigger ideas!
Spinny worm is excited about murder 👿

Thank you! Haha I wish I had time, plus I have other game ideas I'd be more excited about :)

Yess this one is so solid! So much game here, I'm very impressed, thanks for making. Really enjoyed it and will come back to beat it all later. Got to level 18 so far.

Very glad you liked the art! I perhaps sunk more hours into it that I should have put elsewhere lol, the skull for example took too long but I'm happy it had its impact :)

Thank you! And your point is well-taken about the movement speed. I considered allowing the player to bypass the animation by pressing the directional key before it's done, I will make that change post-jam. Glad you enjoyed!

thanks so much, very glad you enjoyed!

Thank you! Yeah the overworld have been explained better, but I’m glad you enjoyed! I will certainly try your game out and give my thoughts :)

I got a B on my first try lol, feeling really good about myself! That was super fun and clean, controls felt super good and perfect for speedrunning, awesome job

Very well made! It may be a matter of taste, but I would have preferred more automation over micromanaging every building, it felt too daunting to focus on making sure every building it maximizing effort, resulting in me resorting to alternating tab/click. I'm sure I'm not playing right because the pars are pretty far off from the times I'm getting! Regardless, the game is definitely well-made and all the systems work really well, and I love the UI.

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it:)

Wow what an experience haha that was awesome, had me stressin

Loved the game, super well executed (wonderful art!) and an impressive number of features added to enhance the puzzle experience, great job

I beat capitalism, but at what cost 😔 really enjoyed this one! The gameplay was super clear yet challenging, artwork was great, and narrative was powerful. Amazing work.

Woohoo I beat it! I won't belabor the critiques given earlier, it sounds like the critiques are already well taken :) Definitely a concept with a lot of promise. To add my own input- if each puzzle took place on the same screen (no scrolling, the whole map is seen all at once), then you wouldn't have to worry about some of the other critiques

Omg this is the greatest doodle ever I’m very honored! I’ll include it on my game page soon! Your point about which tiles are walkable is not unique, I have friends and family who were equally unsure. I suppose that’s a lesson for next time. I’m so happy you enjoyed and thanks again for the doodle!

thanks so much for playing, glad you enjoyed!

Genuinely super creative mechanics, knowing that R counts down without moving really helped as well, also very cool style felt nostalgic

Thanks for playing and I'm glad you like it!

Great at building suspense and feeling creepy! Had me on the edge of my seat the whole time :)

That was sick! Enjoyed the vibe and gameplay, pretty challenging :)

Amazing art! It's clear a lot of love was put into it :) I thought it was really cool to have all the abilities and powerups but the menu makes it a bit hard to find what I need quickly mid-fight, I may suggest having single-input selection e.g. pressing left immediately selects the left option (same for up, down, and right) rather than having to press enter each time. I think that would help especially with defense since I can immediately press e.g. right to enter the defense menu followed by the direction in which to defend. Two button presses rather than 4, and more intuitive imo. Regardless, really cool to see what you guys were able to accomplish in a short time! A full game of these boss fights would be amazing!

Ah mannn was really struggling to get the basketball in the hoop lol

I love the creative idea! and the art style is great, my only suggestion is that things should be more forgiving, e.g. if I shoot the basketball anywhere near the hoop then it just goes in. I struggled at first w the beer bottle getting stuck in the wall by the door too haha. Good job guys I really enjoyed this one!

Hey thanks for the super thoughtful and kind comment, and very generous rating! Don't worry, you didn't miss any cool ending, I suppose you may find it satisfying to see all the bird skulls on their pedestals in the overworld but that's about it. The worm and everything else is fully hand drawn, but I did 3D model a bird skull to use as reference for the spinning skull animation :)

Cool game! Really nice what you put together for your first game :)

Thank you!

Wow that's high praise, thank you so much! I did as you said and puta  big warning right at the top, thank you for the suggestion.

Your comment is too kind! I’m so happy you like it and glad you read my warnings lol, I’m honored to be one of your highest rated :)

That's super nice of your teammate to recommend it! Very glad you both liked it :)

I'm glad I was able to save you the frustration! Very happy you enjoyed :)
