Thank you for playing. Updates usually come out every 2 months, with v0.8 being the latest one (July 15th). Your saves will always work even if you download the full game again or delete your current folder; this is because Renpy savefiles are stored elsewhere in your pc.
You can usuaully avoid downloading the full game by patching it instead, and the way to do this is by placing the patch in your game folder and extracting with tools such as winrar or 7zip. This can only be done from the previous to the latest version (v0.7 > v0.8 for instance).

As for the girls, this is heavily and entirely inspired by Japanese visual novels, and I like to think it’s a love letter to them. For that reason there eventually will be routes, one for each girl, and then one True End and prologue.

Apologies for the late reply. You need to drop the patch into your folder (without getting inside /game) and extract there. If you did it properly, you will be prompted to replace files (which you accept).
Hello, apologies for the lack of communication! I've been informing on Discord because I believe itch only boosts devlogs every 14 days, meaning I'd have to waste the boost on announcement instead of the release, although I could be wrong about how this works.
Anyway, rendering is all that's missing (technical/coding/GUI/fixes/music and writing all done) but I only have time during weekends, so v0.5 will most likely release before the weekend ends.
The themes are sensitive and the dialogue is often NSFW. The tags are correct. Just because nothing happened yet doesn't mean it won't, and this isn't the kind of story where you get sex after 2 scenes.
Just a heads up, the third version is entirely contained within the Memories menu. You should read the v0.3 devlog (pretty short read) for more information. Although throughout the game you'll get notified when these three events are unlocked, so if you just pay attention to those you'll be fine.
Thanks for this, it's refreshing to see this kind of comments as well. I'm convinced that people don't even know what cuck, NTR or NTS means, so I just ignore them since I'm not writing anything like that and they don't know what they're saying.
God forbid characters have feelings or development that don't directly involve the MC, because only the MC can shape them apparently. Not like they have their own personalities, struggles and free will... and they clearly must all be treated as MCs possession (let's also conveniently ignore that he's not even met all the girls and they're not even in a relationship :clueless:). Surely the moment a male MC appears, all girls must immediately change their preference.
But sarcasm aside (the previous paragraph), I totally get the initial part of your message as I'm like that with some VNs as well. You don't need to play it if it'll make you uncomfortable, as your words of support already caused a bigger positive impact than giving the game a try. The fact that given the circumstances you're still willing to give it a try means a lot to me.
And rest assured, I know what I want to write and no one will make me change anything. This story has been in the works for many years (3+) before I wrote the first word or rendered the first image.
