Nadia, a physicist who studies the shape of space-time, time as a place, and multiverses that make up reality, is assisted by Hannah, a mysterious genius who, despite her company's objections, is conducting the experiment she has dreamed of all her life: transcending the cosmological horizon. The two work towards the end of their research despite the anomalies that occur during the experiment, but Nadia accidentally learns the reason why Hannah is able to wield power over the company. Shortly after the incident, Hannah runs off somewhere with important data, and Nadia is forced to chase after her, along with Illona, a woman who happens to be a suspiciously good pancake maker.
