wow!

This sound pack hit me right in the nostalgia bone. I grew up in my mom's office during summer breaks, and the sound of that fax machine connecting was the soundtrack of her workday. There was something almost musical about the handshake tones, the paper feeding, and that final confirmation beep. It's funny how we romanticize these sounds now when back then they just meant more work coming in. The attention to detail in this pack is impressive - who even remembers the document guides being adjusted or the thermal paper tearing sound? Those are the tiny textures that make a scene feel real. I recently had to explain to my nephew what a fax machine even was, and he looked at me like I was describing a dinosaur. Now I use a free fax app for iPhone when I need to send something, and it makes zero noise. Completely silent and efficient, but honestly, I kind of miss those clunky sounds. There's a reason these audio files would add atmosphere to any game set in the 90s. They're not just sounds - hey're time capsules.
