I love the detail when the headmaster says "me" instead of us for the last cultist :D Also - does each cultist have their own level layout?? That's pretty cool! Wish there was an easy way to restart after clearing the game to try out different cultists, I actually managed hard mode after a couple tries haha

It's a solid clicker, the magnet effect looks really cool. What absolutely hooked me though is the sound of the coins, really fun !

That's fair, it's really hard to balance a game in such a short time and our timers are definitely quite harsh haha. Thank you for trying!

Oh thank you so much for taking the time to review it! Appreciate it!! Glad you liked the music, our composer Anthony did a great job!
Also we ran out of time and forgot to put the sliderto 50% but there is technically a pause menu with ESC for anyone else playing it :D
(btw if you wanted permission to post publicly from our team you have it, but no worries either way :) )

Yeah, me too...

Yeah, on mouse it's a bit too slow in the beginning

Yeah I agree, I think memorizing the keys would allow you to get "better" at the game which is always satisfying.

fish good

Alright, going fullscreen helps a lot actually, but the embedded one looks like this!

I didnt expect it to not be this resolution so I didnt check before. Also yeah, the time crunch is real! Everything takes longer than you think - congrats on finishing the project at all haha!

:O well, I do like cats too.. maybe a cat version is needed?

I like the variety of artwork, it's fun - would be cool if all the tools were on screen and you had to figure out which ones to use. Right now it's more of a simple clicker.

Overall, the concept is really good and the art is simple but works. I think switching between using your reactor to mine and cooling it works well and makes sense - but the execution is a little frustrating. The problem is that both phases are similar times, and not only is your rover very slow at first, you cant do much in the cooling phase except upgrade - and you can only afford things after mining. Giving the player more time on mining, allowing you to "save" up" energy or having something to do while on "cool-down" would probably fix it.

It's cute but the jump key being Y for me (not using qwerty) makes it really hard to play... Also can confirm, the screen on game is cut off.

I really liked the laser showing the richochet before you shoot, and having places to bounce your bullets that explode is a great mechanic! The story and voice acting was really silly in the best way. It gets a little repetitive, because the turtles are cute, but have like nothing going on and the story is pretty simple. Still really enjoyed it!

I like the idea, but it's a bit laggy. It could probably be quite satisfying if the controls weren't as diffult.

I'm glad you liked it, sorry you died

Oh nooo, not fluffy! Well, maybe it's deserved... glad you liked it!

Thank you!! It was fun to make too

Everything works really well together to create a really addicting game! The ending thing is a tiny bit underwhelming, but fits. Fantastic job overall!

The keyboard controls work so well for this and the concept is executed really well! You did the voice acting? Wow, I'm impressed. I really have anything to critisize, other than really tiny nitpicks (I had to look up what the tilde key on my keyboard is, I wanted to back between report fields and think a visual indicator of your reports/days passed would be cool) - overall, really fun and well done!

It's pretty fun, especially that there's an alien power up - I wish that one had a longer or more difficult word though. I think there could be some longer words in general.

I agree about wanting the text playing after leaving the room - I missed a lot in the top room, because I didn't realize leaving would stop the text. When replaying "Rachel" got stuck and never moved even when I looked away. Maybe she was mad at me?

Woah, the atmosphere is fantastic for such a short game! Well done. I'm not sure if it's intentional but in the room with the rope I never got the "keep walking" prompt after restarting again. Really creeped me out whether it was a bug or not - great atmosphere!

The cat is pretty cute and it's fun to go around and throwing objects down. The dogs seem to get stuck on furniture a lot - and sadly I got stuck pretty soon because the doors didnt open and I couldnt find anything else to smash (I made it out of the first room)

You came up with a unique take on the theme so I'd say it was worth the extra effort. You did great with the time constraints in general - the levels are well made and the concept really works. If you'd ever want to go back to polish, I do think the controls suffered a tiny bc "finding" the solution is pretty fast, but then actually solving it feels a bit slow or sluggish.

It's really fun, I like the day/night split :)

I really like the idea, the concept of embracing "loneliness" and just chilling with this cat. That said - I REALLY hate  the specific sound effect of the cat talking. It stressed me out, so I couldn't enjoy the the dialogue and the music even though it's good. A fishing game using only the spacebar is a good fit, but it's super confusing and feels kinda janky.

It's a basic SpaceShooter. You fly around and shoot things until you die. It works, looks good -especially the aliens - and technically fits the theme. That said, it's not really unique and the gameplay isn't that satisfying. Nothing really suprising or addicting other than the lovely music and sound effects.

Thank you so much, it was so much fun! Well, I did lose my mind over something very silly at one point but I think that's part of a GameJam haha

yeah it feels actually so polished!

It seems to me that A and D arent working, but the arrow keys are! :)

It took a second to figure out the wind but it's silly and fun! The scale on the website is quite big, I had to zoom out to see everything. Congrats on your first submission!

Yeah, we kind of still ran out of time so we didnt going over the UI and tutorials! We will try to explain it in the description haha
