oh if i understand correctly that's probably the TTS (how the characters speak, it runs locally), it sometimes requires you to approve it on windows.

tysm!!! we're working on improving it, it can be inconsistent atm (requires a good picture, tweaking, etc) but since it uses AI it can be unpredictable / sloppy / bad lol

EDIT: we pushed a fix just now that should have addressed the file picker issues, if that's what you meant!

Fix pushed! If you restart the game, you'll get that update modal that you just need to hit 'Download' to get the update and it should restart and run.

For any new players: We also made new builds just now that are up to date, so if you want to reinstall from scratch those will also work without needing any update.

EDIT: Permanent fix is out!
