just finish the game and then you can hold enter at the start to skip the opening

I realize shortly after writing this that this will probably come off as very aggressive, and for that, I apologize. I'm just extremely frustrated that I can't do anything because my soldiers will just bite the dust if I attempt to do anything, and that nothing will change that.

I don't know if it's bugging or some shit, but every damn trial is a death sentence for my people, every single time, I'm on the easiest difficulty using my best people with the right gear, changing up their orders, and it is always a 5-25% chance. I can't even level up on the things that are easier that are closer to their levels, because if I don't finish it, I don't get anything out of it, even though they still had to do all this.
