I think it would be cool if the right toolbar in toolbar mode changed to show buttons to add and/or modify widgets when widget mode is selected. I think it would make toolbar mode more convenient for making layouts as well as drawing. This is just my thoughts, I don't wanna be rude, I really like decker, and I really appreciate all the work you've put into this project :3
Hello! I'm making a contraption that allows for you to search data on a hidden grid in the contraption itself. I want the user to be able to configure the columns that are shown when the search is done, and also to configure the column that will be the target of the search (the one that is used in the query). I tried the following code:

Where "search_col_val", "show_col_val" and "search_terms" are fields (with only search_terms being visible), "search_entries" being the visible search results grid, and "internal_copy" being the grid that is being searched.
I expected the query to show the elements whose searched column matches the search terms, but instead I get the value of show_col_val. How can I make this query do what I want it to do?
Such a good game, as always! Love your stuff, it is always just at the right level of difficulty for me to actually have to think, while not being frustrating (I am stupid :P)

So, i was going to use decker for like, five minutes, like i usually do, and i noticed that a new update had dropped recently, so i downloaded it and replaced the files on the old decker version with the new one, and tried to run it. It returned an error saying something along the lines of "This application contains a virus or does something potentially unwanted, so it has been prevented from running", and i thought that was weird, and then i tabbed out into Firefox so that i could upload the exe to virustotal, and only two antiviruses had flagged it as malware, plus nothing on the behavior tab seemed sus, but eventually windows defender also flagged it as malware, so i deleted the file, and the zip it came in. I also checked my system with SysInternals' Autoruns and ProcExp and i didn't see anything sus either. I am still a bit afraid that my info was stolen so i will be changing my email passwords just in case. Can somebody tell me what caused this to happen? I am afraid and confused :/
pretty good! i really like this, game, i want something like a room system, something like rpg, with multiple maps for different areas, maybe you can create some areas and put them toguether like puzzle pieces, that whould be cool!
i want this game to be good, so dont strain yourself, it dosent have to be perfect, you said the project was ambitious, so be carefull with stuff like scope creep, i really liked this game, and the atmosphere it gives off.
also, please improve the editor, when dealing with different heights, it can be a little annoying, other than that, creating a world feels pretty good! just some improvements and stuff.
i hope this game becomes the masterpiece it deserves to be!
i have a platformer conroler that can move, then when you press a number, the corresponding block appears, i usd the save slot feature to save levels, basically every level is just a save file with a corresponding name, when you press "load" on the title screen, it will load the slot with what you typed in the text bar.

i wish i had pico 8, but its paid, so i have to stick with other fantasy consoles, such as tic-80, i recomend you to try other fantasy consoles/computers. for me, there all realy intresting.
