How do I unlock Ralsei's "Very Nice Scarf"?

I got the Charizard code and entered it, but nothing happened. Did I do something wrong?

Go to the vending machine to buy a drink, receive it the next day, and drink it—repeating this process until you encounter Charizard. Charizard appears twice, and the trigger conditions for both encounters are the same: buying and drinking the beverage.

Could you please explain clearly? I don't know what the code does, and does having or not having Ralsei change anything👀

I'm a bit concerned this game might infringe on Pokémon copyright in the future. I hope the dev team alters the characters' names and appearances; otherwise, the game'll soon get hit with a copyright strike by Nintendo.
