Hey all,
I made a silly little thing called FLOP or FOUL and figured this community might get a kick out of it.
https://happydistractionsstudio.itch.io/flop-or-foul
It’s a short, dumb, hopefully-funny loop with juicy buttons, confetti, a smug ref, and a streak counter that quietly rewards you for accepting that justice does not exist. Built in Three.js with the full crunchy PSX look — vertex wobble, low-res pixels, fog, the works.
I’d love if you gave it a spin and told me what made you laugh, or what felt off. I’m still tweaking the flops, so any “make it worse” ideas are very welcome.
Thanks for taking a look!
Update is now out!
- Top speed up. Streak cap raised from 3× → 5×, and misses sting half as much (−0.05 instead of −0.10). A real hot streak finally pulls away.
- Hits grow with the climb. Past 8,000, each hit is worth more than +1, the higher your score, the bigger the rung. The equation still has to equal one exact target, and the score still only ever climbs; the steps just get longer the further you are.
- Combo bonus. Consecutive hits widen the rung up to 2× at a 25-hit streak.
- Unfocused tab catch-up uses the same scaled rewards, so leaving the game running mid/late actually moves the needle.

medusacascade thank you so much for playing the game!
I'll definitely be adding in controls around the visual effects so that players can tune it down as needed. Right now as a stop gap you can turn the quality down in the settings and it will remove some of those visual effects during gameplay.
Thank you so much for playing the game!
first off thank you for playing my game! Huge fan of LORED.
Second thank you so much for the feedback! I’m still planning on updating the prototype with everything I’ve learned! I’m also in the process of launching my first steam game so that has taken priority for now.
Once again thank you for playing really appreciate it!
