Hello All! I put a notice in the comments about the interactable progress bars, I completely missed this by accident and have turned them off in the next patch build. Until the jam ends I put a notice up about it. Hope it helps you all!!

Hi! thank you, could you give a bit more clarity as to why? I can understand if it can be interactable if I drag and drop an item onto the child sprite then deducting the cost. If not then I can also understand the button hovers not being perfect. I’m also going to update the help menu with visual gifs of the gameplay instead of having it wordy to reflect on the lack of clarity of learning the controls of the game. thank you for letting me know.
Hi! if you are reffering to items being bought and then having the affect be active when you try and press the other item buttons. You won’t be able to get some as there is a cool down for how long the affect is in place before you can buy another item. In future practice I can maybe shorten the cooldown. I had a lot of teething issues with unity during this jam. If not, I can maybe do some digging as I plan to patch the game after judges are done. Hope this helps! :))
Managed to get the hang of it eventually. One suggestion I can make is maybe converting the hint cards e.g Horns/no horns into visual icons to get the combos right. Another thing is the sound affects, the incorrect sfx is a bit too loud. But other than that amazing work for the fact you got it done in less time than the jam gave you!
Hi is this for learning the controls in the help menu?? if so I added button hovers instead of using the default button colour tints as I wanted to stick to the limited colour restriction. when your hovering on a button before clicking it and it scales up in size thats when you can click on it! I hope this helps but if you can maybe provide some screenshots that will help?? I cannot update the game until the judges make their decision but if the issue persists please let me know. :))
Thank you.
First off such a charming gameplay loop! the dragon is me whenever im in deep sleep. Improvments, other than the UI screening being a little off. I can understand unity not being helpful with that as that was an issue I was having aswell. But great game and lovely to see your other projects aswell!!
First off can I say the animation job on this game is very advance, I love the sort of PS1 style graphics in the opening cutscene. It wasn’t hard to understand why the human was falling into the water which honestly made me chucke. Good on you for innovating on the limitation. The audio was cozy as heck aswell. Well done!
Awesome job on this! Very relaxing and makes me feel I’m right at the beach front. The fact that you made the food combos as well is amazing. I will say there is room for improvement, such as Hiding the recipe book after you return to serving the customer, and Potentially stretching the text box a bit more as the text size makes it a bit cramped. Great work!
Oh my goodness thank you for letting me know those tips!! I’ll see if i can impliment a permanent fix for the viewport once the jam ends. jam time was really cutting it close. I’ll be VERY mindful next time when it comes to github repos. its awesome to learn this stuff I basically learn from jams each time.
