Tested it today and it works on real C64 using the Ultimate 2+ cartridge too (also pricey, but worth it!) https://bsky.app/profile/c64cade.com/post/3murqlww4n223

Regarding adding games, it's quite a long process for me to add each game, but I intend to create a system to allow anyone to add their games. So it's just a case of waiting either way!. If you wanted to help out, we can chat over a call sometime.

Funny you should ask! I'm currently testing support for C64Cade high scores saving from playing on the Ultimate 64. It's working pretty well so far. After that I think I can get it working from a real C64 using an Ultimate 2+ Cartridge. It's 100% automated, no photos/QR codes necessary!

Amazing stuff Kabutu! Definitely going to try this out on my MiSTER

Well done stacbats, looks great!  how about a John Cririck presenter in there?

This is brilliant!

Cheers, the P2, P1 label things seems to be correct sometimes and not others, but better that port 2 is always P1 and port 1 is always P2.  Regarding the lag, it's not the fault of the game, it's the input latency from host to server on C64cade - which I made to allow 2 players to play online, so no need to change things for that.   I like the knockout feature, and understand practice makes perfect.. but for 2 player especially It'd be really nice to have a mode to allow to play for score without getting knocked out.  As one player gets knocked out and is waiting around for ages.

Grats on the game Roman - It's quite fun, though I'd like to suggest a couple of improvements.

I think there should be an option to play through the whole song without getting knocked out.. It would make 2 player battles more fun.

Also, there shouldn't be any energy drain when no notes are arriving - too often we were knocked out for no fault of our own.    I've been playing this online multiplayer on C64cade - the lag doesn't help for this type of game, but it lets you play online 2 player.

One bug I found is P1 and P2 labels above the scores are the wrong way around. Player 2 wins at the end is correct, but their score was labelled P1 in game.

Overall it's really good, and great to finally have a good rhythm game.

Would be great if the original paddles worked with this version on mega65.. doesn't seem to accept the option from the title screen though

well i ended up killing them.. moving past them seemed impossible too because they keep walking round the square and they move so fast I thought my U64 was in turbo mode... now i'm just lost and wondering what's going on... i'll try a bit more!

Really impressive stuff, well done! really struggling to kill more than 1 of these cleaning mechs though!

Thanks Charlie!

Yes it's here: https://github.com/hayesmaker/thrust-platform

Thanks!

I know what it is, I was wondering why the table says to load the disk version on certain platforms, but there's no disk

I bought the game, but there's only a crt file, no disk

Hi Flyzy, you may share the game!

Still very much looking forward to seeing this game released... thanks for all the updates!

That's a real shame about the music. The SFX were just a couple of bleeps, I'd rather have just music than any sfx at all.  Anyway regarding the condition, I still don't get it.  If condition is damage (and 100% = unit destroyed), then you should probably just call it Damage.  But that doesn't explain why sometimes the value was going down after I attacked something.

Condition 100% sounds like a unit is at full health - and that number should drop as the unit takes damage.

Hi there, first of all thanks for creating a really great looking turn based strategy for C64. We definitely need more of the genre on the system.  I tried playing this on my stream last night, and have a few questions, and maybe found some bugs.  First of all I think the game would really benefit from some music.  We also read the manual, which I hope is not finished, since it's full of spelling errors and bad english. I really hope you have time to fix this before the physical release is published.  In terms of gameplay issues, sometimes when I'm attacking enemies, it says I've done damage, but sometimes it increases the enemies condition %, and sometimes it reduces it. I had no idea whether I was dealing damage or not.. Is an enemy destroyed if condition is 0 or 100? sometimes I would do 100 damage and it would only increase enemy condition by 1. Sometimes an enemy would be on 60, I'd do 30 damage and the enemy would be back on 15.. and stuff like that.   I can only assume the game is currently broken at the moment.  Anyway, the stream is available to watch if you'd like to see my problems demonstrated.

I've pre-ordered a physical copy but I really hope the game gets some fixes and some music before release.

this game better have the mcrib or else!

Wow, this was one of my faves growing up and it's great to see the mega65 getting some love. Well done ✅

OMega65 surely! Grats on the release, looking forward to checking this out

Just seen a video of a retro shop selling Tiger Electronics' Pink Panther game. Would be great to play that here if possible one day.
