I get an error when trying to play in the browser on firefox:

TypeError: ServiceWorker script at <a href="<a href=" https:="" html-classic.itch.zone="" html="" 18315084-1883617="" "="">https://html-classic.itch.zone/html/18315084-1883617/</a>ServiceWorker.js" class="redactor-linkify-object">https://html-classic.itch.zone/html/18315084-1883617/ServiceWorker.js for scope https://html-classic.itch.zone/html/18315084-1883617/ encountered an error during installation.

I really liked the credits sequence.

I noticed when allowing the guild to pick my skills it has avoided taking the oath at the end of The Stroke.  Instead it is now putting points into the Mending path.  Why is that?

I had never heard of the word "oftener" and thought it was made up.  Turns out it is a real word, but its very old fashioned.  A better way to phrase it would be "fires 3% more often", or even shorter "fire rate +3%".

I feel max encumbrance needs a buff.  I'm level 16 with a max encumbrance of 36.  I am being returned to town every 26 seconds because of full inventory.

As someone into retro computing I appreciate the style of the UI. I'm glad you thought to include a dark mode to.  With a little reshuffling or just more room in general I think it could be further improved.  I should also state I'm using v1.3.4 in the browser.

For example if the equipment section was 1-line taller it would eliminate the need for any scrolling.  Perhaps you could move the encumbrance bar into the equipment area, remove its heading, and eliminate the empty margin between them.  Similar to how the HP and MP bars are in nested into the Adventurer's Papers area.

Speaking of Adventurer's Papers area, the stats section is ~2.5-lines too short.  Perhaps the experience bar could be moved into that area too.

For the lists that do require scrolling, I think a slight reduction in the scrolling rate would help.  Presently, when I scroll in the Inventory or Knacks list, one stepping of my scroll wheel moves the list down an entire page.  I personally find that a bit disorientating as it can make it hard to keep track of what line i was up to reading.  I would prefer if it scrolled at something like 3-lines at a time.

I like how the "choice waiting" button vanishes when there are no choices.  It would be nice if the "skill tree" button did the same.  Having it vanish unless there are unspent skill points.  It can always be accessed from the top menu if needed.

Moving the dedicated guild calendar button into the top menu would also help to reduce visual clutter and free up more screen space. It's not a feature I use regularly enough to warrant it's dedicated button.

Good concept.  It feels wanting for more content and depth.  i look forward to see where it goes from here.

10mins of fun.  Beat the game in 4 in-game days.  The little bit of parkour was unexpected fun.

Some of the corner areas can be time consuming to return back to multiple times.  Might I suggest adding some jumping boots to the store, or the construction of a ladder.

Agree with the comments that the scaling needs some balancing.  Speed up the start slightly, and slow down the end.

I'm stuck at the same part

What is the large black square above the coin for?

First off I want to say that this game was more fun and in depth than I expected.  Kept me playing for 2 days.

Suggestions

* When the cursor is focused inside any kind of a popup window, for example upgrades, prevent the scroll wheel from zooming the map.  Presently when scrolling a list of upgrade options I use my mouse wheel, and when it hits the bottom of the list the wheel starts zooming the map instead.  This is fine when only viewing the map, but should not happen when a popup window is present.

* In the upgrade window.  Keep the sub-menu's title visible, with the number of points available to spend.  Presently when you scroll down the list of upgrades it scrolls off the top of the screen.

* In the upgrade window.  Remove the line in an upgrades tool-tip that states how many points after leftover if upgraded.  This provides little value and adds to visual clutter.

* Reformat footer text.  Change the Tools, Upgrades, Codex, and Guide from plain text to buttons.  This will help them visually stand out.  Keep their keyboard shortcuts still.

* Reformat footer text.  Hide the Click, Pan, Zoom, and Inspect text.  These are useful at the start of a play through only.  Once familiar with the controls they just become visual clutter.  Potentially could be relocated to a tool-tip when hovering over the aforementioned new "Guide" button.

Bug

* There are multiple locations where characters are not rendering.  Likely because my system doesn't not have the same font as yours.  For example these include something next to the weather in the top left, and on the far right the currency, soil, insect, animal, and plant counts.

Suggestion, add a way of viewing your current notoriety.

Good 10 mins of fun.

Suggestion, for the awards could you add the current progress towards obtaining them.  The 50,000 clicks took met he longest.  It would be nice to know if I was presently at 11,000 or 49,000 towards it.
