I have one word to describe this: sick.
A fun take on the horde survivor game, simple game play but so polished. I loved being about to redirect the magic attacks back at the enemies! The buff goblins will live on in my nightmares dreams.
Congrats on submitting to your first game jam! This is a really simple but fun arcade-style game. It's easy enough that I can play it for hours, but it's also challenging enough that I want to sit and play it for hours (I swear NEXT TIME I can get a higher score). There were some times the trucks and holes spawned lined up in just a way I swear no matter where I squeezed, I couldn't make it past without hitting SOMETHING. A great game though, really solid submission—one of my favorites in the jam!
Dang I wish I had the skills to figure out this game lol. It was fun but I found myself hitting a ceiling (or rather the floor) really fast. I was never able to get more than one coin and get out of the storage room. I never figured out what V or the clock in the bottom left was for. I thought maybe the clock was the direction you were spinning, but then I didn't know why that would be a clock, so I thought it was something else... I did stay playing for a while, determined to figure it out, which is a good sign it was fun even though difficult!
You somehow managed to capture both sides of my personality into one game... I loved it! It was a lot of fun being a menace defending my honor at the carnival.
Really fun idea and well executed. When I was battling Bingle and Bangle, the icons on their wheel got really small so I couldn't see what they were spinning for or landing on. Not sure if that was intentional, but it would be nice to see what was on their wheel. Although I could clearly see the results, if I won or lost the spin, so it wasn't a huge impact. Really fun entry. :)
I feel so free divorcing my wife so I can make the most oonga boonga money. I'll invite everyone to my yacht... once I stop spinning.
Seriously hilarious and fun game. Very addictive gameplay, I found myself playing this the longest out of all the games in the jam. I will say the stats took a little bit to understand and get used too. I was confused at first with the reports, I didn't realize there was a minimum you needed to collect before turning them in. I kept going back to my desk after collecting a few (like a good corporate monkey). After burning out the first few days I started to get the hang of it.
Really solid concept and all the power ups and stats fit perfectly into the theme you established. Great entry!
Cute! I was not expecting the ducks to come running at the speed of lightning when I started HAHA
I had a hard time building the spin, I couldn't figure out what spins would charge it. I tried fast, slow, small, big, but nothing seemed to consistently raise the bar. But that might just be a skill issue on my end... It also was super challenging that just one hit ended the whole run for you. It would be nice if there was a health bar so there was a tad more forgiveness with the difficult (at least for me) controls and fast enemies. Regardless it was fun to play the little bit I could. I think with some polishing it would be a really great game!
Love the art and had fun with this super silly but interesting hoard-survivor you made! Although I wasn't sure what the QTE was really doing, Adding special attack shuriken? Building for EXP? It felt like it was mostly just interrupting the flow I was getting in. Otherwise I had a lot of fun playing this!
Really simple game, but so cute and cozy! I do wish the colors were labeled and that there were more color options, but I was able to create a friend regardless. There was also a small bug where if I pressed space bar before the dialogue had finished, it would just stop where it had loaded and I wouldn't see the rest. I could press space to load the next dialogue, but would miss what was before. I am a bit impatient when text loads, and a fast reader, so I tend to want to load all the text before it's done with the animation. I refreshed and worked on my patience to let the text animate out so I could read it all. :)
Thank you for allowing me to bring Bloop to life.

Yoooo the art is amazing!! It's such a cute game! Fun way to interpret the theme. I do wish there was some way to better prepare for the next fight, like a hint at what they might be weak against or use more of... I didn't think the archer would have so much electricity, I really banked on them being more grass or earth oriented. But thankfully it doesn't punish you for losing so you can just change the wheel and try again. Although if there were more stakes involved it would be even more fun to play. Would love to see this built out even more and further polished!
So cute! I want a little plushie of the rabbit so much. The art is really amazing, and the animation is done well. The game play was really simple and easy, I could see where it could be built out more for more depth and mechanics, but it was still a fun little game. I wish the spinning was more apparent or added more to the game like loading a powerup or something. Still, Kudos.
Amazing art and concept! I love that the album you choose affects your visual. It was a bit hard to figure out where the guitar picks would shoot from, even with the sight laser, they didn't seem to line up, so it was hard to successfully attack and kill the enemies. I ended up just going in circles and spamming space to attack and hope they would eventually run into the picks. Really solid submission though overall!
Really fun take on the theme and beautiful art! I feel like the registering of the click for me was a little delayed, but not sure if that was just me or something intentional. I would click in the hit bar but it would wait a second or two to stop, which resulted in a miss many times :( (probably just a skill issue on my end tbh)
Regardless great entry!!
Really interesting way to interpret the theme! I was jamming to the music for a bit before I even started playing hahaha I definitely don't have the hand-eye coordination to operate both tentacles very well, I would so easily get confused which tentacle was tied to WASD vs the arrow keys. But I found if I just tried to keep them together and move the same direction with both of them it was a lot easier for me and I could get enough points to progress. Some great art and a really great entry for the jam!
Definitely more fun than doing laundry in real life! Really neat art and concept, would love to see it developed out even further! I kept playing hoping for my pizza party, but the laundry never stopped coming... I did my best with the two little paws I had until the laundry was touching the clouds. Honestly great job and I hope you keep at game developing, you have real talent!
I had to die 10 times before I figured it out and got the hang of things. BUT was fun after! I'm terrible at rhythm games so I didn't make it too far, and having to restart at the beginning was tiring after trying my best a few times. If it was less punishing I would've played further. Regardless it was a fun game and neat entry! Unique take on the theme!
Really neat concept for the theme! There's definitely areas that could be improved our further fleshed out but you only made this with javascript and HTML in less than four hours! It's really interesting and I would love to see this developed more. I hope you keep at game developing, you're already accomplishing so much. :)
Yo! Really cool game!! The art is such a unique and amazing paper-style, and the music was so fun, I loved the vibe of it all. It made me laugh so much once the chairs started breaking and the people would go flying, but you know my ride was still hella-fun because you could hear them go "Whoo!" all the way to heaven. Fun figuring out the strategy on what to fix. If this was developed more for more management, different skins, etc. I would actually pay money for this and play it for hours.
Interesting idea and take on the concept! A bit hard to understand the speed with color correlation. Maybe adding some images or icons to the wheel for speed would help. There are a few small bugs here and there like spinning the wheel after hitting the main button sometimes changing rooms instead of speed, if you press the main button again before the speed gauge completely fills you don't get anything broken or to fix so you can cheese that to win, etc. But overall a really cute game that has potential if built out a little further.
Really solid entry! I was a bit confused with the controls at first, having to figure out how to move before being told how to move, then when a new mechanic was introduced it took a while for me to sit and figure out exactly what the images meant and how to do them correctly. But there's amazing art, stellar music and a overall fun fully built game here. :)
