I compared screenshots from version 0.7 and 0.8. The old version displays everything correctly, but the new one has this weird 'grid' effect (not sure of the exact term). I’ve included the screenshots—any idea how to remove it? Also, if you have time, check my previous VOTV post about color and lighting issues—it’s related.

Write down if you like the old or new grass more.

In version 0.7, the grass was a brighter, more vibrant color, while in version 0.8, it became a darker, less appealing shade. In the previous version, the world felt kinder and more cheerful, which made the horrific events that occurred feel much scarier compared to now. Currently, the grass looks duller, making the world seem less friendly, so while the element of surprise from events is still there, it’s weaker.

I also added before-and-after screenshots: the first two screenshots are from version 0.7, and the third and fourth are from version 0.8. The difference is massive. (The screenshots were taken at the exact same time in the game.)
