(also has no commentary. Also ignore my theory at the end. I mistaken the MC for someone else. I’m sorry about that. It has been different after rechecking the recording.)

I Enjoyed this game/VN! I do love the lore and Mysteries surrounding the abandoned building and the language with likely cursed knowledge. And as always, I do love the art, Just like your other games I have played before. really love the usage of noise/grain texture, as if like playing in a static-ky noise tv. And as well some of the short animations you did. Also gotta appreciate the character is named furnace. wonder if this has relation on furnace god.

Overall again, well done, and good luck!

You’re welcome! And thank you as well for watching! Also I forgot saying this, but good luck in your future endeavors!

Man this is such a sad and sweet short gb platformer. It’s fun, I do love the dog as well, and I already did said, but yeah, very heartwarming visit to the gates of heaven for their owner.

It’s still an emotional balloon ride.

Here’s my journey on it. (around 1:13:31)

Man this is a really cool read! I did enjoy the characters, the story, and the art as well! Can kind of relate on dad issues as well (tho not alcoholic about mine.) And... Pepper!! Adorable!! Would definitely pet. Would also love to see Bea petting them. Still, again, a really good read.

I made a readthrough of this, it’s on the start (tho I did notice the game got updated so yeah, if there is one slight overhaul in one music from what I read, welp I’m sad I missed it.)

(also has no commentary.)

I guess it’s been a while I played a game of yours. I will also consider checking the other one you made previously. It’s alright. I do like the art as always. As you can see on the thumbnail, I didn’t get all of the endings, as my one major issue on the game, is like you have to start all over again. This is fine, if it’s like 2-3 other endings, but more than that, is where I give up. I wish you could just start right away/back from the start of the penthouse section instead at least after getting an ending as a choice, instead of just back at the main menu. So uh yeah, that is my only major issue in the game. I still enjoyed it regardless.

(also has no commentary.)

Very cool game! I will say some few complaints first right away. When I tried to resize the game, like manual resizing.. uh... it doesn’t resize the game. Again, I will also admit I’m not knowledgeable about Godot Engine, so I dunno how much suffering on that one. And I think lastly the controls feel kind of like a float-jank at times. Sometimes the double jump works, sometimes doesn’t and have less momentum in certain successions. I wish I could word this better but yeah.. But now, for the good/amazing parts. I adore this game, I do love the pixel art going on (<- really loves pixel art), so you get a chef’s kiss for that one, 10/10. I also love each area has different palette set, which is fantastic, and sets the vibe/atmosphere of that area. I also do like the underwater also changing the physics and really making it floatier/buoyant, despite of the aformentioned jank issues on movements/moveset. I do love the NPCs as well, and the NPC Lasses!. I do love the variety they have, especially the important ones. As for the story, especially for a game jam, I would say it’s surreastically serviceably sweet. I did encounter a bug tho where you can replay the end scene again. I wish it was credits instead and back to menu (I even screenshotted the credits and I forgot to add it in the end. lol.) Still amazing job on making this game and I enjoyed it till the end. Kudos and good luck on future endeavors!

well, I finally played it and I will proudly say I enjoyed the new additions, especially the one secret you can find, which expands the worldbuilding and the characterization further, especially the new ending. Overall definitely the version I can recommend now, and would recommend purchasing it.

And I guess I also did a playthrough, but likely you already see it somewhere.

I’ve been wanting to play the prototype one for a while now, then I noticed while scrolling you finally released the full game of it, so I ended up playing it, despite some inconveniences happened before playing. And I’m happy to say I enjoyed it! This is probably another one of the better/best RPG Maker games I’ve played, specifically something more leaning towards as a classic RPG Maker Horror. I enjoyed the cast of characters and their characterization as well. Oh one thing I didn’t mention in the description, I do like the magnifying glass for secrets, which is really neat (I wish there was more usage of it, tho probably there was more that I likely missed, which I might still check in the future). The areas and puzzles are really cool (only two puzzles I think I have issues/least favorite), and really reminds me of ib. Music is really great as well. Overall, I enjoyed it, despite the issues (again, couple of puzzle/s, I think there is an issue in a certain part of story, I just think I don’t have words/couldn’t come up atm, what I really want to say, and there are some part that are untranslated/one of the same thoughts got bugged back into RUS language.) Regardless, the pros/positives of this game, outweigh the negatives/cons. Excellent job for first full game, and good luck for future endeavors.

your next line is beforemount

Certainly a spoiled yog-art experience. (and yeah I made a playthrough.) 10/10.

Well, I finally played the remake, and overall, like everyone else said, is a massive improvement over the original/jam version. I love the new portraits, the short intro, style matches, and the rewriting of the story. The newly added deduction minigame, reminiscing of AA a bit, is also really cool. Overall, verily well done remake. I guess one thing I will agree on some comments, is basically the kitchen area lags. Might possibly depends on hardware again on this one, or might need to optimize further on this one.

Again, well done.

I did a playthrough of the remake. (And also has no commentary.)

Pretty cool and amazing game! I do love the art in this game, like everything, the pixel art, music, and the puzzles! I really had a blast playing it. I will say a moderately easy difficulty.

I also made a playthrough of it. Either commentated, or just pure game audio.

Again, really cool, and good luck in future endeavors!

(also has no commentary.)

Overall, a cool visual novel. I hope the planned updates will give them more character and story, but they are still interesting (also as always, cool art). As for the blackjack, well it’s blackjack, a game of chance... tho there have been a lot of rounds within the 6 runs where it felt I can’t win either way. But again, I don’t have idea how the inner workings of the rng goes.

Regardless of the issues/nitpick/s, I had fun, and it’s still good.

Very cool and wholesome VN. I do like each option has a certain theme to it. The hand drawn art is also really cool!

I enjoyed it!

Also oh yeah, forgot to mention, that some areas can cause a softlock. One event can be repeated in elysian fields, and the other you just have to walk through the statue, and you can no longer leave the boundaries upon going further.

(also has no commentary.)

If this is your first game, uh, not bad! I really love the art and I guess a really cool take. Also a really sad story. I guess some audio had to ended up muted, as it got copyclaimed. Also, one thing I found weird is the controls. The common RPG Maker staple ZX buttons are not working, and since it’s also doesn’t have WASD, my hands were cramped on one side, with enter button (and mouse for the souls memories) only being the only way to interact with objects, tho again it has been mostly find and go get the thing so I will let it slide. Still, regardless of the issue, not bad.

I had fun and good luck for future endeavors!

I enjoyed this! Adorable characters and really neat characterization, And very cute and expressive art, even the small animations they have! Also really nice music as well! Story is really good, and I enjoyed the take as well of like time disturbance/parallel timelines/the likes.

Well done!

excited!

(also has no commentary.)

I ended checking this up for now. (I will check the update of the other game later, I did forgot to follow-up and say that the turn-off tv filter works when it wants to, instead of being able to turn off completely in one go so uh yeah.)

Anyway, enough for the other game, I want to talk about this game... and dang, that was sad. Yep fictional corp ruining 2 men love. As always I love the visuals, and the lighting/ambience/atmosphere, just really gives the dream looking/surreality of the situation. Again the motions/animations do remind me of  Pkmn BW. And man, tho I already said how it goes, it is all sudden. Hopefully the updates of this, and The Final Course (if there will be more major things will be added), fully connects the worldbuilding of these two games (or more if there will be more.)

Had a blast of sadness playing this game.

Again, good luck on future endeavors and thank you!

(Maybe I’ll draw them someday.)

This is such a beautifully depressing experience. I understand what’s going on in it. It took me like 3 separate days, but still probably like a day total, to like at least understand how this experience works. I dunno if I saw every secret in this but at least I could what I can experience. Still, it’s really sad.

There are other things that also already had been said by others here, but yeah, like this has an innovative use of ren’py.  Also beautiful art (includes music choices and font choices) and atmosphere.

I did a session of this experience with me speaking (there’s also one without me speaking.)

Ok I now have the chance to play and report my findings on the new version. I found a new bug in the neighborhood, and I cannot meet the morse code creature and the cat,, it’s all heal, uncle frank and the red guy, making the game now unplayable/unbeatable because the cat refuses to appear. I think the cat is best to be just npc on the map at this point.

(also has no commentary.)

Had a blast playing this one, even if I suck at go/weiqi. I do love the character designs, and as well the whole thing in pixel art! Gameplay is nice, and I guess it’s the beginner size weiqi, just enough for me to still kind of try to learn the game. And also I love the writing/interactions of the two. Again, a really amazing game!

Thank you so much!

(also has no commentary. Your game is at start.)

Pretty good game as always. Love the visuals/graphics and as well the music and sounds! Amazingly well done. Music is really chill, despite all the deadly things that can happen in the cursed cave. But yeah, I do have to agree to another commenter. The game can be easily broken, even on just Area I. Some of the common power-ups are already great. But then the uncommons and rares just really break the whole game immediately, and as early as you get them, you’re just now unstoppable. I guess the name of the game really stayed true to the nature of the power-ups.

Regardless, it is still a fun game, and I enjoyed it till the end.

You’re welcome and thank you! Welp I wanted to draw something, since it’s such an adorable game.

Welp, also I did a follow-up playthrough on the post-jam and want to share my thoughts on the new update as well:

(also has no commentary. The follow-up starts at 29:20.)

Overall, it is a much better experience and really enjoyed the new hard mode as well. I do love the balancing happened in this update, and the added lift, which is nice to coincide alongside the hard difficulty as well. And the 100 Rats mode.... welp certainly a meme material, and I funnily think its kind of almost as hard as hard mode, especially the rats in that mode as well don’t give time, and more of an obstacle at this point. Still, certainly an experience. One thing I wish is basically if you clear the highest difficulty, like hard mode, it just unlocks the rest of the ribbons (excluding 100 Rats), instead of you have to play the other difficulty modes to unlock them. Still, this update is miles better than before. As for final thing to say, I do love the extra lore of the other dolls. One thing would be nice, tho I think it might be extra work at this point, and unsure, is would be able to play the other characters aside from the main, upon completing the game.

Again, great update, and the quit button finally works.

Absolutely fun game! From the game & the art (graphics, music, the characters, writing for an arcade), it is simply an amazing game for a game jam. I’m speechless. Really a lot of care and love is on display. So good I played it twice (just to 1CC.)

Thank you for an amazing game.

I did a playthrough. It also has no commentary (for pure game audio enjoyers).

Again, amazing game and good luck on your future endeavors!

Haha, you’re welcome. Hopefully you don’t go supernova about it.

Welp, as soon as you made the extended version.... I did a follow up as a bonus of a new playthrough I made (and still fully reread it anyways.)

It starts on 46:58.  (Also if I said anything else that I think I kind of said it wrong/misremembered, uh sorry about that, unless there isn’t,then nevermind.)

Overall, the Extended Version, is miles better than the jam version. I do like the new added music, and still having the motifs in it, as well as the new CGs, Star’s portraits, and the menu upon getting all the endings. It is a vast improvement. Well done! I did also read the notes of the extended version, and I guess I enjoyed reading it as well and understand better. (Forget-Me-Not tho has been stuck in my mind ever since Deemo.)

Welp, that’s all for my follow up, and good luck on your future endeavors.

(also has no commentary. Your vn/game is at start.)

Well, it’s a sad/grieving vn. I do like the art. It is really cool. The music choice is nice. It reminds me a bit of Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence. As for how this micro vn goes, I do like the choices, the writing/characterization of Clarissa and the endings associated with it/the path they take, alongside with the symbolic titles they get from those choices.  Overall, again, it’s a really cool micro vn. I will do check the other related VNs in the future! And good luck on your future endeavors!

(also has no commentary. Your vn/game is at 17:41.)

I enjoyed reading it! I think most have been said by the other commenter at this point, but yeah. Limited color usage on this one is really cool. The art is really good! Expressive characters, as well as really nice characterization/writing (Noel’s obsessiveness, and Bianca’s analytical behavior.) Kind of predicted they like have the same thing. Regardless of that I enjoyed it. You’re doing good. Another good one. Good luck on your future endeavors!

For remembering one of the bugs caused by inputting the special objects, I think it's the cat caused it. I already place an object before then when I placed the final one at the party, it didn't trigger, until I replaced the object, and yeah it suddenly works. I tried on reloading before just to make sure there's no other weird shenanigans, and tried to input multiple things in the party, and yeah it still didn't work, likely the cat one has issues. That's one, tho unsure if there are any other situations that can cause the same issue.

Played this game today, and unfortunately gave up after one ending, as for some unknown reason, there are times placing all special objects doesn't trigger the ending in some specific order. I had like 2 already correct ones, and hoping to get a certain ending, but when I placed the last one specifically in the party, the ending didn't trigger, until I have to replace the correct one with a wrong one again and place another object in the party, and suddenly now it worked and basically got a different one instead. Again unsure how each of the ending works but yeah, until the special objects are bugged, I have to wait for a better version atm.

Still it's an interesting game. I do like what's going on in this game and the art as always. I think my least favorite one is the neighbourhood since it felt like you can just go check one house and have all encounters already there in one go... Unless each house has like a unique npc that you can encounter at random chance, which is something to mind in the future update to make the neighborhood more interesting, maybe a random cameo or something else. Also this is random but I'm unsure anyway if this is possible (I have no ideas how plugins work), but would be nice if there's a way to like disable screen filters.

Still interesting game, and would likely wait for a downloadable version for now. Would consider playing this again on a future update.

(your game is at 16:51. also has no commentary.)

Well, the other commenter already said most of the things I want to say. But yeah, this is a really neat melancholy. Again really nice art and writing, and I do like the opposites of the characters as well.

(your game is at start. also has no commentary.)

welp I guess the other commenter said what I want to said, but yeah had the mutual feel to it. It’s sad/melacholic but also I guess really nice. Well, hopefully in the one ending, they get reincarnated into something better. But what if it’s a to- ok enough.

Very fun till the end of everything in this game! I had a blast playing it.

(also did a playthrough of it, whether me suddenly not speaking at latter (below this comment), because focus, or just pure game audio. [starts at 22:34])

(1 edit)

(also has no commentary. also this should have been posted like days ago, but something depressing happened, so I’m sorry if it’s only now.)

Just like the other game of yours I have played, it’s also a very fun one, and at least this time it’s like only actual 2 deaths. I do like the idea being able to cook in checkpoints and like gain more HP again. There are some typos, but it’s a game jam game so I can understand.

Still a very fun one!

Definitely a fun one, and a decent difficult at times.

(1 edit)

Umm issues on my end playing the game:

I caught the same error before by someone again on the current version on the same spoiler. when you select the other option.

Also throughout the whole game, it might be only me, but the game heavily lags. I dunno during like dialogues it goes back to 60 fps, but when it goes to playing the game, the fps dips into 10-15fps, and even further on first area, dips into 3-8 fps. Might something to do with the plugins (tho possibly my laptop has like outdated specs as well.)

Still interesting game, can’t wait to play it another time it gets released.

(also has no commentary. Your game starts at 32:30.)

I really like this game. It’s a great game, and if this is your actual first game, it’s even more amazing for a first game.  I love the characters, their characterization, and especially during the ending/choose a route sections. It really shows you made this game with care and love. Also the art, it’s instant chef’s kiss for me. 10/10. Also the bonus content is pretty good, and made me more interested of this game’s world. Good luck for you future endeavors, and again, amazing game!

(Sorry if this took me a while to comment, as the video is already posted a while ago, as I’m also doing ArtFight atm.)

(your game is at 33:50.)

A straightforward traditional YNFG. It has some cool worlds especially the mansion one (and I did get to see top of the mansion event as in one of the screenshots, I’m unsure if that’s RNG or has certain conditions.) I guess the kind of convention/food court as well is one of my favorites.

(your game is at start.)

A really cool and short traditional YNFG. It’s an interesting concept for effects and as well as using the wand as well. Also, love the hedge maze. I also recently played your other game and it reminds me that also has one.

Still, not bad! Truly a rain summoner.

Wow, this is an extremely amazing game. The pixel arts and the soundtrack/chiptunes are amazingly well done with lots of love! Both sections of the game are fun; and difficult for the shmup section (the main focus) (had a number of skill issue happened on latter parts of the game); and really cozy on the town section with some stories and nice and cute characters to discover as well. I had really tons of fun playing the game!

Welp, I made a playthrough of this game (it also has no commentary as well.)
