Thanks for playing and making the video! Awesome to hear that the killer left a good impression.
And yeah, I hear you on the brightness! Sadly, turning it up completely destroys the atmosphere, so I had to keep it dark to make the game work as intended. I know it can be tough to navigate at times though. Really appreciate the feedback!
Thank you so much for playing and for the kind words! I really appreciate the feedback.
Regarding the brightness: unfortunately, due to the game's design, the brightness can't be increased - it would completely ruin the atmosphere. I've tried it myself, and the result wasn't great, as it breaks the immersion.
As for the endings: yes, there are multiple ways this night can end. If you want to get a different one, try playing again but don't read the notes. Good luck!
The first thing that stands out is the menu sound, the button click actually caught me off guard. The quest text is way too long. There's a sound for turning the lamp on and off and for the switch, but no door opening sound. I sat on the couch for a really long time with nothing happening, and I started thinking did I do something wrong? What does the game want from me? Or did I run into a bug?
The atmosphere is tense, and the sound design really builds that tension.
I liked the ending, but it draaaags on way too much. Forcing the player to walk through tunnels where they can actually get lost is just infuriating. And there are way too many jump scares — after the fourth one, you start expecting them.
The sound design is above average, but I was expecting voice acting for the dialogue at the beginning. And overall, it would've been cool to hear the hero talking to himself.
Overall, it's a good game — I liked it. There's room for improvement, you did a great job.
