Pretty fun and wild FPS.

Cute game! Very good story and nice presentation. Making and animation 3D models for a game jam is very impressive.

I thought that puzzle variety was fine for its length. The only element I’m unsure about is the logs, because they were introduced rather late, but they had good levels regardless.

I agree with other commenters here that the puzzle gameplay could be improved. Movement and actions felt a little slow, sometimes Mokou’s attacks didn’t hit youkai, and visibility cones weren’t very clear. I think that with a dedicated 3D engine you could improve on all this and add nicer lighting too.

Overall nice job.

Thank you so much!

Thank you! Yeah, the post-jam desktop version fixes the difficulty, heh. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

A very charming game. The timing is tight but fortunately I got everything right the first time.

A quick and snappy dating sim. It's very well polished. I got the MariAli ending and I'm satisfied with that one, but may revisit later. The art and music are great.

Thank you! It was fun to come up with those. It's a Touhou fangame but there is not a single character depicted directly haha

Thanks for playing! In the latest update I made the camera a bit faster when the target is far away, but also, that same update has some balance tweaks that should prevent your horse from getting so far ahead so easily, because it wasn't really intended to be that way.

It turned out that in the jam version all the horses had default track and weather preferences, which were programmed not to show up often, but in the new version you should see that info properly now.

Paying for the gallery is a good one, I'll save that idea for another time haha

Kana's theme is one of my favorites! She's a very cute character.

Personally, I enjoy platformers with instant start/stop movement and a fast jump. My gold standard is the Megaman X series in case you want a reference, but again, that's just my personal preference.

Thanks! I didn't know of it, you made a great adaptation. I look forward to that endless mode.

Thank you!

Great concept and really fun gameplay. I thought the balancing was mostly fine but a bomb would be very useful when it gets very chaotic. I also applaud you for also making your game available in Spanish. I thought ours might be the only one haha.

Fantastic concept. Did any particular game inspire it? The combination of turn-based and real time reminds me of Valkyria Chronicles. This kind of gameplay has a lot of potential!

Fun game, it gets really intense haha. The art is very cool -- I wish the entire game had committed to the pixel art aesthetic! The bullets and subpixel movement somewhat clashed with it. It was also a bit difficult to know when I got hit. I really enjoyed the music, it fit the frantic action very well.

Joon sure has a lot of side gigs! She caught on to the modern dating app strategy... but ethical?!

Aw I was totally waiting for Shion to appear on the last day so you could use the Tenshi item.

A riveting entry in the ever-expanding Tewi Jumps Off a Mountain and Dies™ saga. Featuring graphics and music with unprecedented levels of realism and a revolutionary new Wall Jump (patent pending) mechanic, this game is sure to please both new and longtime fans of the series. - IGN

Impeccable aesthetic. It wouldn't be the same game with different controls, but some kind of practice mode where you can see the pivot point and the dancer's masses might help the player build intuition more easily. Turns were tricky but I think I was getting the hang of it by the end.

Kana mention 🗣️ That was fun! This game has a surprising amount of combat options, and on top of that add the sword switching, wow. I remember a Youmu platformer was a fangame idea I thought about for years. I will say that I think that with some tighter physics & movement this would be really solid. Lastly, I appreciate how forgiving it is letting you restart screens without losing progress.

I’m so happy for Reisen and Youmu.

Just the first scene already had me laughing out loud.

I'm glad we agree that Tsukasa is someone who doesn't want to admit her feelings 🤝

Cute and heartwarming, and so elegant in its simplicity and presentation.

Very slick presentation and a lovely concept.

Thank you for playing. I agree, the difficulty could have better balancing (see my other comment above). We're even discussing it as I type haha. Thanks for your feedback.

Thanks for playing! We actually did think about implementing obstacles pretty much just how you describe, and it was going to be one of the sabotage options, but in the end we scrapped it as the deadline approached. The boost pad skill was taken from there. In the end, I found it a bit hard to balance all the gameplay elements as they interacted together and small changes seemed to greatly affect difficulty (non-linear systems, woot), but I'll take note. I'm sure there must be a simple solution. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it and that you liked the music and visuals.

Thank you so much!

I also had a similar moment of realization like Marek described. This is a fantastic concept. I'm gonna have to steal this idea someday :p

Thank you for your thorough review. I certainly made the game with a specific audience in mind, and I wanted to do something with all the trivia I've gathered over the years, haha. I was looking forward to see how ZUN would have played... sadly they didn't play it that time. I agree about the music, but I struggled to find an appropriate replacement. In the end I decided to just publish it as-is. Thanks for playing.

Thank you very much for your comment and for your review. For some reason itch had flagged your comment and I hadn't seen it... AngryCow did a fantastic job with the writing. I'm happy you enjoyed the game.

Thank you!

A fellow Terra Battle fan! Thank you for playing.

97% accuracy. Awesome game & great presentation. The main theme is lovely, it reminds me of the Maple Story OST haha.

Pretty sweet & fun game.

Can you add a mystery extension power-up that makes Rusty longer? :p

Akyuu is one of my favorite characters and I like the look and feel but found it so hard to play T_T I don't understand how the clock works, and it's too easy to run out of energy because you can't easily know how much energy you have left, and then you have to start again... That aside the writing is pretty good, I really like your writing.

Thanks for your comment! It's a scroll, so she just edited it and put her note in :P

Thank you! :D

Thank you for your kind comment. Yes, you gotta watch out! Haha.

Thank you! I'm happy it gave off that feeling.

Thanks! I'm glad it was educational after all.

Oh hey, awesome. thank you. I gave it a quick play and the movement feels great.

I feel like there is a veeery slight delay between when you press a key and when you start moving or ramp up speed, and likewise there is a small delay between when you lift the key and stop moving, or when you suddenly turn from left to right. Does movement have any acceleration, or is it instant? I think it may be compounded by two things: Shinmy not having a walk animation (granted, because she's in her bowl), making it feel like she is sliding; and the subpixel movement when you go fullscreen. I noticed you are using Godot, and there are some settings relating to that last point, but they changed in Godot 4.x so I'm not sure how they work now. I know that in Godot 3 you enabled 'viewport' strech mode, 'keep' aspect, and GPU pixel snap in the project settings, so that your game scaled in a pixel-perfect way when you change the window size.
