DRIFTING IN SPACE is a ten-issue psychological sci-fi comic book series that blends the surrealism of cosmic horror with the grounded emotional stakes of a man struggling to hold his life together. The series follows Marcus Cole, a Black American man living in present-day Atlanta, Georgia, whose consciousness is violently pulled into the lives of his alternate-universe selves every time he falls asleep. Each issue drops Marcus into a radically different variant world — from thecrushing depths of an underwater oil rig to the boardrooms of a tech empire, from post-apocalyptic wastelands to the haunted spaces between life and death — only to snap him back to reality when that world shatters around him. Armed with the echoes of these doomed timelines, Marcus uses his intense déjà vu to alter the course of his own reality, saving lives and preventing catastrophes one sleepless night at a time.
