Awesome, will be looking forward to new stuff.

Awesome, these DOS ports to the Genesis are amazing!

Works great (love the SEGA intro logo), minor scrolling stuff on the top of the screen once in game, but tbh, that might have been part of the original, I dunno.

It plays great with proper controls, would love to see more java games ported, specially stuff by Gameloft that plays great (I advocate for Diamond Rush), there's also a Shinobi exclusive game that would feel right at home on the Genesis.

Awesome stuff, looking forward to more stuff from you.

This is awesome. Hopefully we see more PC-Engine stuff backported to the Genesis.

New Adventure Island for example would be great, or particularly the Ninja Gaiden exclusive that has broken parallax, finally fixed with a better ost.

This is awesome! Would you consider porting these (Keen) to the Sega Genesis too?

Tumblepop or Funky Jet would be super fun, as neither received console ports (and they fit the Genesis narrative of Snow Bros....Snow Bros 2 would be awesome on that same note).

Hell a proper arcade port of Sunset Riders or Captain America would be sweet too.

Thanks for your work, looking forward to the updates of Alien Syndrome

This is fucking fantastic, insta follow. Looking forward to updates or more stuff from you

Can you share the process of how this is done?

Looking forward to what you got cooking!, I tried this on the Powkiddy A7 and got some sound issues when getting the first powerup, but tbh, this machine is notorious for not having precise emulation, so probably it's a hardware issue.

Awesome, got a notification about this the other day on my email, but it said it was deleted.

Looking forward to more Genesis ports, will try this one tonight! Do you think Tumblepop is feasible?

Thank you so much for this port, I have a tiny little arcade that I use at my work desktop, and it can't run Wonderboy, but it can run Genesis games.

It plays like a dream.

Hopefuly you can keep tackling other games that were never ported, like Tumblepop, Funky Jet, Gunforce or Snow Bros 2

Awesome, wish someone would tackle Tumblepop or Funky Jet for the Megadrive

Not getting any sound on either version for some reason -__-

I'm playing on the Retro Arcade RS-12, so makes sense that not everything is right like on the original hardware, but in general hombrews play great here, would be cool to run it with sound, since it's arcade shaped.

Other than that, runs good

(1 edit)

Having a similar issue now, I can render, but it doesn't actually output the file. It used to work fine when i tried years ago (neither png, nor gif, work, only webm or mp4, which are useless to me).

Basically an option to start with all the sprites sharing the same settings (all sprites in the same layer with the same "pattern", and the same depth and zscale applied), that way we can apply volume as we see fit on certain sprites.

This coupled with the ability to edit multiple objects at the same time (with the same settings) will make editing a game much easier.

It's pretty much impossible to edit a game with a consistent style if you have to individually edit and change setting for each sprite and each sprite frame.

Any infor regarding my other question?

Also, the Editor UI gets in the way sometimes when editing, would be cool being able to move it.

Am I missing something? I tried the usual Control, Shift, etc HOLD + click to try and edit multiple sprites with the same settings at the same time but no dice. Bonus points if allowed to click and drag to select an area of sprites to edit.

Also, an option to start with a "flat" canvas (all sprites in the same layer with the same "pattern", and the same depth and zscale applied, that way we can apply volume as we see fit.

Awesome job on the emulator, thanks
