Somehow I managed to accidentally erase the submission for the gmtk26Jam and there js nothing to do, having lost tons of comments and feedback😭
But the game will remain here for your enjoyment ❤️
Loved how the jam's theme is interpreted in Keeper of the Kraken :)
The platform managing part like tetris is super fun and gives so much replayability.
The cooking part reminds me of Overcooked, one game i love. This game would be even funnier with local coop.
It would have been nice to have controls inside of the game, thought. Also, a retry button could be nice. I messed up the platform placing at first round a couple of times and i had to wait for the timer to reach zero to start a new round xD
Overall, a very entertaining experience. Congrats on the game
Made in 72.78s! Thought, I actually struggled in the final level. Would be extra nice if you had a bit of extra time per level. I had to retry a few times to better optimise the level so I could finish on time, but the optimization part was interesting aswell.
Loved that you can use the platforms while still moving them, specially walljumping.
Nice mechanic and i loved the music too. Congrats on the game!
The famous movie reference mentioned in the comments... Is it Emperor's new groove? Kronk and Yzma pull the lever gag? xD
The narrative part: absolutely hilarious. I LOVE intros in gamejam games. And the moles' designs had me laughing.
The clock mechanic and time reversing and fowarding was so interesting too. Even thought I struggled a bit with the first level with spikes, the levels are more than doable in 85 seconds and well balanced.
Don't know if it was intentional but, in the last puzzle, the box is just half visible with the sandclock indicator.
Surely 5 of 5 stars in every category. Really had a good time.
Liked the "Stanley parable" narrator in this game, when giving you instructions and mocking you when you die multiple times during different minigames, also a great detail adding dub.
I have found a couple of bugs in two of the minigames, just in case you want to check them:
Me ha parecido súper noble que, como adaptación al tema, se haya usado la idea de los basureros recorriendo las calles por las noches limpiándolas. Que haya una intro y que las instrucciones se integren en ella, me ha gustado mucho. Las mecánicas son sencillas de entender, pero puede todavía suponer desafío. El arte, además, una pasada. ¡Enhorabuena! <3
