soft, sweet, a nice embracing silence.

I expected this game to click with me in all the right ways and you knocked it out of the park with all its chuuni glory. The kinda scientific themeings I adore most, an easily loveable yet complex cast, and a lot of funny cowbell?
The kind of self-indulgence any storyteller worth their salt ought to strive for.
Phenomenal, stunning. I adored the theater presentation and the script of its "one-woman" show; the Ave Mujica Episode 11 inspiration really shines and you've told an amazing drama. As one with "many psyches crammed into a beautiful body" I get the whole issue of contradictions of desiring to live among mortals versus embracing the truth. Big ups on that.
Echoing a lot of the ways this one resonated. Definitely feel very seen so I think you got the DID/plural rep down pat; the way Zuzka's system members interacted and tried real damn hard to sort their shit while also tearing it down is so strongly depicted. The struggle of self-acceptance and having that desire to do anything, anything, to find what feels right can never truly feel all the way. The mental and physical torture that we can go through navigating being an incomplete whole. But damn you do have to at least try and it's so goddamn hard.
also the system sex was cute.
God I don't even know where to start with this one.
Basics first. I love the effective simplicity of the presentation. Between the UI and the focus on ambiance with a handful of sfx, this VN is a great show of how much you can get out of modest assets.
Was very much prepared for the worst going into this. Frankly a little eager for it. In the best way possible I love getting a good sense of how things are gonna go down in the end just from Claire's own perspectives. And those views kept unraveling themselves in such horrid ways especially the increasingly dodgy, piercing dogwhistles of her languid (trans)misogyny. The constant gaslighting and her needing to always be in the right. Extremely fucked up what happens to someone when they're made to be the fawn all their life!! The break in a certain line at the end actually made me chef kiss in real, too.
also it was awesome that nina came from being cucked
Repugnant! 5 stars. never trust a chaser
This is super good; I'll check the other endings later but I got Erika End 2 and had a nice experience, speaking as a trans woman. I appreciate how natural the conversations between characters felt and how they discussed issues involving trans folk (in Japan, in particular. I think it was important to share that perspective and clarify the differences elsewhere in the world... even if things aren't exactly the best for us anywhere ;;). Thank you for creating this.
Incompatible Species is a kinetic novel undergoing development in Ren'Py, slated to have full and expressive character sprites, background art from lush bio-technological cityscapes to dingy offices, voice acting, and some fun short episodes on the side.
Incompatible Species is an episodically-split story detailing the exploits of a specialized (read: self-glorifying) pest control unit. Despite the mismatched nature of each member and the world around them, what keeps them all together runs deeper than the surface.
