thats a cool game !

Very strange world and a great mechanic. I was wondering how the mechanic could be transformed into a longer game. Maybe by playing a story that fits the mechanic well in context? would be interesting to see. Good execution of the game and nice controls. Great job!

This was such a genius and original game! The visuals are very strong, and the mechanic itself is terrifying. If the controls were up during the gameplay, I think I would have more control bc i really couldn't remember the controls. But if that was your goal, then you got it! Such a strange and weird art game, but in the best of all ways. great job !!

Very nice visual style. It would benefit a lot from a tutorial first, then the actual game. I think the UI is unfortunately not quite clear what is clickable and what is not, building a design system around that would really help. The music was very fitting, and your presentation is solid. I think a bit of a toned-down approach would really benefit in transporting your idea to your audience. I'm really impressed by your features and idea. I also read your itch page and think you really communicate very well throughout your whole page.  Great job!

This feels like a big scope creep. The visuals are nice, the music is very fitting, and the overall execution is solid. I was a bit overwhelmed by the UI element at the beginning, and for some reason your text in the UI won't scale to fit. It's very pixelated, almost unreadable. Also, during the gameplay, I'm not sure if the big health & ability, etc. UI needs to be this big. It was blocking a big chunk of my field of view, and that would be a bummer if an enemy is hiding behind the UI. You can always scale  small to big and small again if big moments or critical moments appear and are crucial to show, but during gameplay it was rather distracting. But overall it's a solid concept. Good job!

very funny to throw the people out the window and the blablabla sfx. The countdown itself is too tight for me, I think? And the score at the end could just be a list or be shown very, very fast. The silliness was oozing, and the fun was there! Great job!

I love this idea!! Very polished, clean mechanic, and the levels were very, very fun. I love the name of the game and the little figures. But I must say 5 seconds is a bit harsh in the beginning, but I understood your intention for replayability, so 5 seconds was getting easier with each replay. I wish the SFX for the stickiness on the wall would be louder to enjoy. Overall, a neat tiny great game! Would be nice to see a mobile version of this. I know people who love these kinds of games on mobile (die hards, I'm not one of them).

I love those minigames, and the tape-fixing was the most satisfying one! The voice was really beneficial for my preparation for the minigames it felt very fitting, and I appreciate the intro and no worries about the controls. Great job!!

took me a while for the words to form. I really liked the art style. I wish the words were longer in SFX to notice the sequence better. My first language is not english so this was a bit of a challenge. Great job!!

Great game!! The amount of polish that went into this is insaaaaaneeeee!!!! Shootout to the sound designer !!!!!

damn the juice this game has. I really wish I had a controller at hand my hand hurts. Let's get mad.
Very well polished and stylish. Great job!

That's a solid concept, but the controls make it very hard for me to move the body within other intractable sprites.  It's a nice touch to make all the doors open as soon as the counter drops. I felt very exposed. Also like your "how to play" it was very clear what to do! Great job!

Very creative and good UI. I wasn't able to land smoothly, but that's probs just me.  The stars add good polish, and the goal is very clear. Thank you in submitting this. Good job!

oh my english is too bad for this, but i'm sure its better for english speaking folks. Really liked the intro and how Yasmin looks at Ollie while talking. It's really adorable. Thank you for submitting this! Great job!

unprofessional? You're being unnecessarily harsh to a well put design. Every asset I see is drawn with clever, minimal quality that has animations to it. what the helly.

Uuuhhh this is art and very clever art indeed. Love the shader and the vibe and the sound. Great Job!

Those are some nice trivia questions and the humor was great, but I'm not sure about the loose and win state, bc i dont know how the cheating will affect my score? Good job on submitting!

Great shaders and overall/vibe, its really creepy if you only hear the heartbeat and the ringtone. At some point I was thinking you would jump scare me. Great job!

This was such a fresh idea with this camera perspective! I love the music and the polish that went into this. I wasn't sure if I was beating the court the right way or not tho. As soon as the court arrived, I was immediately overwhelmed and felt the ammo change very unintuitively. Maybe a mouse wheel or numbers could fit more?
Either way, great game and presentation.

Very hard, but the shaders are beautiful.
I feel like I've seen this game in Junipers Game Jam video at some point, but I'm not sure...?

It was quite confusing at the beginning, and I haven't figured it out yet, but the models, the shaders, and the polish and vibe are great! Good job!

That was hilarious! Thank you for that laugh!

Cool concept, and the animations are on point, and the art was very cool, and your modeling skills look very nice! I just did not get that you have to click on the counter tool to start the rhythm, but your walkthrough really helped me out there! I'm not sure why there is a need for a terminal if you could also show that with a UI system, but I see you wanted to mix Sci-Fi with some ritual elements. Very interesting concept, good job!!

Nice way of minigame my microwave time! Good concept nice swap of controls, and fun games! Good job! the polish was there!

woaw what a great escape room! The shaders and the assets really vibe well, and the controls were always on point. The introduction was creepy but good, and the concept was solid! This is how you show controls without me checkin on your itchpage or some text! great job!

The art style is adorable, and the theme is very serious. I was warned, thank you. It leaves me with a sad feeling behind, whether I clicked the right words or not. You wouldn't know in real life either. (I wish I had understood sooner who Sean and I are bc I kept mixing it up.) Thank you for submitting this. I need to hug my friends now.

crazy hard first level! But the introduction presentation audio and polish is insane!!

At first I needed to match the number with the countdown then I got the concept that you have to have the number right to count down. But my problem with this is that I don't know which number i need to grab for the right number. That was unfortunately a bit frustrating. I suggest playtesting before submitting with strangers for good feedback!  But I see where you wanted to go, and great job on submitting this. Keep on going!

uuhhh my brain hurts, but i got far, and i'm impressed by that bc I'm no good puzzler. Good introduction, good levels. The character to sprite in the level feels a little whimsical, and the mechanic itself isn't explained further. I think that would be needed to progress further in complex levels bc the easier ones are on vibes instead of strategy, and i think you could overcome that. Adorable art and the music is also fitting. The intro is appreciated, but a tired trope, I think if you want to develop further that think about the story first perspective than mechanic instead of mechanic perspective than story. Great job!

this was such a fun game! The UI was a bit confusing bc yellow to black i would assume that black has more power than yellow, and if I failed, the score rating animation would be appreciated if it could be skippable. I really enjoyed the breaking bones sfx and camera field of view because the impact really impacted, and the score point UI was hilarious. Great job and great art! Keep on going!

hey i'm not sure if this is intentional, but my camera snapped away every step i took in the game. But I understood your concept, and the sound goes hard, and the countdown sounds very original and cool. Great vibe i just wish i could play it more, as it was a little unplayable for me. Maybe a browser issue (Chrome)?

That's a great mechanic to deal with. I really like that the numbers go down if you place them in the terminal that makes it really tricky. Very clever and good polish. I just had to restart several times the game bc wasd was not working, and if I fucked up one level, there was no suggestion to restart with a button or key. Maybe I didn't read it, but I wish there was one. But overall, great job!!

woaah that was fun. My friend actually tests in mice, but it's for cancer research, so I felt very bad for the mice. Always struggling to think about it. Felt great to try to free the mice for a change. thank you! Adorable artwork! The controls could be a little clearer in the introduction, and in the first scene I was so overwhelmed by so many mice that I didn't know which one I was controlling. I'm not sure if this is intentional. and the death animation is brutal please keep that. I think it gives it a lot of deph because of it. It felt harrowing. your presentation is on point lets goooo! great job!!

i totally agree with cachandlerdev here. you're game needs a tutorial and needs to be more forgiving. i kept dying and dying at some point it got frustrating. also in the beginning your player is in the air. this makes the experience for the first blink very disorienting. i'm proud of you publishing your first game. playtesting with complete strangers without any info at hand is the most humbling experience. playtest with your target audience, not with people who are invested in you. thats the best advice i've been given. and make more prototypes! the more you experience the more you can direct your design. i appreciate you making a intro that wants to have a narrative. thats very impressive and shows you care! please make more games it is one of the best life choices i've ever made for myself.

lmao you flipping the hand was a genius design choice! i really dig your art style and the simplicity of it.  also the use of some different controls was really fresh to see. nice execution well polished and immediately understood what i had to do. the only thing that was a much was that music. I think you could tell a story with those counting fingers. in the right context this could be wild! great job !

The meta concept, the art, the ui, the sound & creative mini games it was all very very well executed and polished but at some point it got very repetitive and i understand that you already put soooo much content in this. the mini game with the layers could tell a story and the code debugging also and the music too! i'm just saying if you want to scale it up, for me that would be in telling a story that has a meaning to you. the only thing that disappointed me was that the "coffee" upgrade was always brought by a girl in a maid costume. To me, that felt like it was reproducing a pretty tired stereotype that I don't think this game really needs. you've got humor the design and a vibe and all in all very polished. what do you want more? i'm aware i'm very nitpicky here but you really got an advanced game here! good job !!

well this game is very charming! i was wondering if my previous ink could get me less or no loss of ink. i'm not sure if this is intended but in the second scene the palette is used as a wall but in the right 3 screen you can walk over it? also all the little things on the road like colors and pencils and such felt like collectibles rather than just decoration.  i'm not sure if its that rewarding if those won't give me any feedback, if you give me the feeling of going near them. but the art of it was very cute and i enjoyed going over the puzzles ! good job !!

HA! this game reminds me of the old retro game freeway on Atari 2600 (i'm not old I promise lol)! so cool and such a cool twist with the gravity and contextualizing with being a time addict lmao great way of showing minimal assets and great presentation and good pacing to a good tutorial and a good twist to a good old classic is all we need to have some fun in this jam! thank you so much for this entry I giggled like a nerd it was so much fun.

(1 edit)

this mechanic is very enjoyable and very unique to other jam game i've played here. your thumbnail really give you no justice for this of  a great mechanic! the introduction to the game is well paced and the leveln feel quite intelligent. i would love to see this more developed! what i would personally change about your current build is that you can fall down to the blue sprite. that makes it more dangerous and more fun to take risks and also the door sprite could be a little clearer in being a door, bc at first I thought it will hurt me if I go near it. great puzzles and great mechanic please make more it! great job !!

very challenging platformer for me, that was almost ragebait but thats maybe just me. the polish that went into this game is really satisfying!! great job!!
