Seems like this sweet artistic game will be my last rating.
Really pretty art, and for such a simple concept you really had some fun ideas to make the gameplay work. You ended up with a really ccreative puzzle game that has multiple endings aaaaand original art. Congratz !!! Hope you'll have good ratings for this jam :)

Assets are cute, liked big bomb. Gameplay idea with the time has potential, probably pretty hard to tweak the balance for time/energy use of the weapons.

Your game is cool, the art works quite well !! The idea is pretty fun and you had some neat ideas in the level designs, congratz :) If I had one feedback is that the combats felt a bit unnecessary specially since the platform-puzzles were really quite fun, I kinda wanted to quickly go to the next puzzle every time ahah. But it's also proof the puzzles were pretty fun :)

Art wise pretty charming, I liked the animated drawings a lot :)

One of the best take on this idea !

The art is lovely, everything goes well together, both sounds and visuals, it's all really satisfying. The gameplay is also really polished, right amount of overwhelming ! One of the prettiest games imo
Impressed by how juicy the game is, you even took the time to make a custom fullscreen button, only one I've seen !

Congratz :)

Probably hasn't been easy juggling all this yeah. Hope your exams went well, I usually did pretty bad on my chemistry exams when i studied biology  so I understand the pain a bit

Also I wasn't saying this as a critic, I was trying to empathize, sorry if I wasnt clear  :)
Good job in any case, and even more seeing the context !

I've seen this mechanic in a few games now and this is one of the best implementation in the design-level. The maps felt good to traverse, and also the movements felt smooth, which is a crucial part often missed in game jam platformers, well played !!
If I had to give one feedback it would be just that I wish we could unzoom a bit sometimes to like, plan out the movements I want to do. But it's kind of a nitpick.
Also didnt get the angel thing but it's a game jam, hard to have time to implement everything we want ahah

Well played !!

Nooooooo was so close to save them :'(

Sadness

Really cute incremental, like the implementation of the clock going around the dinos, and the world is reaaaally cute. A really nice amount of polish and juice for a jam game, I enjoyed it a lot :)  Well done !

Was hard to get how o defuse all types of bombs without any tutorial, but once you get it the concept is pretty fun :)
The bomb assets are nicely done too.

Liked the concept, the constant pressure of keeping track of your time plus trying to get enough money to buy more time makes really plays well with the tension. You got the level of "nervousness" right :) The UI is also pleasing, and the game feels smooth.
A really good entry !! Well done !!

LOL I'M SORRY. It's a mistake french people often make ahaha

Real artistic vision, one of those games where I was surprised to see it was done by a simple person only one person, SOLO. Usually those games have music/audio or gameplay not that developped. Here all sides are really good.
Music goes really well with the theme. Congratz on the mix/production side, I suck at it and I find yours really well done.
Same for SFX, you nailed them !! Lots of juice in the game.
Love the backgrounds, they bring so much flair. Your game and another one (TEN TEN) really showed me how much you can give a strong vibe with az relatively simple but "stylized" background.
There could be some little feedbacks to give if you want a full game from this, but honestly the result is already so good for a game jam, especially for a solodev,  I want to say congratz more than anything !!

Loved this game !! Hope you make it to the video you deserve it !!
One of the hardest game on this jam, but it's so good I had to finish it. The idea is great, the art is gorgeous, the juice is everywhere, some of the best music of the jam too.

Congratz for the game :) I like the idea, the  graphics asset you made are cute. Would deserve some sound other than the step but it's a game jam, hard to find the time for everything !

Thank you very much for the compliment.

Monkeys cant press button, but dw Moonkeys can be hugged.

I checked your game and I loved it, the art was top notch I enjoyed it a lot. And really fun implementation of the idea !!
Thank you for the compliment :)

Thank youuuu ! :D

Thank you for the nice message and compliments fellow primate enjoyer.

squeak squeak squeak

I understand why you prioritized getting as much  of the hand made art in, it looks really great, I think it was a good choice :) The little noises (even though a bit repetitive) and the beautiful drawings makes the game quite cute/charming
Gameplay wise it was also a pleasant surprise. The idea works really well IMO, I had fun :)

Good job !!

Good job on making everything yourself, it's quite an achievement ! The axolotl is cute :)

My only tip would be to try to balance a bit more the high and low frequencies on the song, as everything is pretty high in register. You can simply try to play lower notes with the synth doing the chords, or have a lower percussive line sound, or if you can boost the lows on some tracks. This way the some sounds like the claps and melody would hit more :)
The song is quite catchy though and the energy fits the game well, good job on that

And as I said earlier doing everything yourself makes it so much harder so good job !

Awesome idea ! Game is some kind of puzzle crypt of the necrodancer, great concept.  Also the groove mechanic is super well thought, the whole game's design is really great.
Took me some time to understand how much you could almost skip some levels with the groove, didnt expect the groove to not dropp when you dont move . My only feedback would be to maybe make the fire hurt only a little moment after it changes position. The fact that it insta-kills you once it switches pushed me to make the moves slightly before the beat, because being a bit late is much more punitive than a bit early and made feeling the groove IRL a bit harder.

Game is still really really cool, nice level design too.
Oh and the dancing duck is goated. One of the cutest animals of the whole jam

Daaaammmn. One of the most creative takes of the theme, and you nailled the narrative. If I could give one game 6 in narrative it would be you,
Also congratz for the visuals, the game is actually really beautiful, really nice choices in art direction.
Awesome !

Quick and fun ! Well done on creating everything yourself in only 4 days !

Good concept, and each mini game is fun and quick enough  to do. Just needs more time to add more mini-games and some juice with more sound and visual effects. Game and arstyle mesh really well together so it already works well :)

Fun concept and honestly an really good level design, made me feel smart in some levels once you get it. Also the movement is tweaked nicely, which is a problem often encountered in jam platformers, good job on that !

The ambiance is pretty relaxing and sweet, love the little speech bubbles you added for the duck :) Only feedback I have is that the sfx are a bit too loud compared to the music imo but it's a nitpick.
Seems like it only needs time for some polish, but it's normal in a game jam and the art direction you went for is a good idea, you made good choices ! Game has it's charm already

Good job :)

This game is really cool, felt smooth while nervous to play and lots of levels.  Good composition with the assets you used them well :)

I had trouble seeing where to click for a repair sometimes although for some levels having everything all scrambled up and figuring this out is part of the fun. Just wish the white lines or the color animations on the ship were a bit more noticeable.

Kudos for the level design too, I liked the variety and mix of everything falling at the start, and things falling through the level.

All in all a really good entry good job !!

That was so good ! We indeed had quite a similar idea ahah, love the way you implemented it, a really good use of the sueprcute art in your game !! (and you actually managed to implement fun rules ahah)

Really impressed, game is really polished with lots of juice, the vibe is really endearing. One of the best submissions all around!

The parkour concept is cool, had fun playing this game :)i liked the esthetic you were going for, the decor fit well with the music. Fishes are a really nice touch
Music was really cool ! I do kind of wish it would loop on itself and not start again when pressing retry I had to stay on the death screen too hear it in it's totality

The tetris level is pure eveil ahaha
Loved the humor in everything, and the  gameplay is really fun. Had a blast ! WIih the song looped a little bit less soon.
Congratz had a lot of fun :)

Lots of good ideas. The mix of real time with the sun going down with turn by turn mmoves for the duck and ennemies is cool. I also like the mimx of 2D/3D and how it interacts with the shadows and light parts we must avoid.
As the others said sometimes it's a bit confusing to understand when an ennemy attacks and I wasnt able to fully understand everything that was being said in the background (which I have no doubts was quite funny).
Art is really charming.

And the duck is super cute, loved the little animation.

Got everyone's good end first try eheh

Loved it ! the game being fully drawn makes it very charming, the writing is really quite good for a jam game. Really love the idea of the game.  Oh and well done on the music and sounds too ! Honestly only problem is that we all wish there were another day in the game ahah
congratz !

One of the best game of the jam. Fun game with fun execution, the meta humor with the gameplay lands really well. The drawn assets are also really cool, love the art direction !!

Lovely take on a balatro like game. The whole discard, draw and queue system surprised me at the start but it's a really interesting take on the genre, adds some interesting strategic choices
Game looks really good too, the cards and their animations are really pleasing :)

Awesome !! Super cute frogs and pretty creative and fun way to use the theme.  Music is also super cool, and the level design is great.
One of the best entries

Very cute pixel art and really good idea/concept. The core gameplay is fun enough that pretty simple levels are already fun enough, I like how you implemented the idea of a countdown of jumps.Gameplay was smooth too. Cant ask much more from a jam game, well done !!

Congrats on making everything and submitting the game ! The vampire's animation is cute :)
My biggest advice would be to make the music loop a bit longer as it can get a bit repetitive. Liked the idea otherwise, and again gj on making everything yourself !

One of those game I would have spent afternoons on when I used to play flash games ahah. The gameplay is super fun the physics in the game has the right amount of simplicity.

Super polished for a game done in a game jam. Lots of charms in everything, the music, sounds, art, narrative, enjoyed it a lot !!

NICE APE
NICE SOUNDS
NICE GAMEPLAY (but I'm bad tho)

NICE

Really fun game, interesting take on bullet hells :)
Movement is finely tuned so the gameplay feels good and smooth. Right amount of vfx to help it all be smoother too.

Congrats!

One of the best looking games I've seen in this jam.  The rendering and color choices are amazing. As the others said it's impressive to do this in 4 days ! Even had the time to craft some story
A bit unclear how the units will work at first, but since you can easily retry your choices and the flowers stay at their place, I didnt feel any frustration at all !

The gameplay has so much potential, with enough variety and bigger maps or events on the maps itcould be a great puzzle game like into the breach.

Very cool game :) keeping the friendly fire makes the choice of which monsters to attack really interesting. The atmosphere with the pixel art and music is also well done, the fire dimming out is also a nice mechanic to make it harder as time goes on. The art is nice, I just wished the ennemies were a bit more visible against the background I had a little bit of trouble seeing them pop up sometimes, but it's a nitpick.

Congrats !!
