Genuinely no idea, didn't know about the visual novel being updated as well. I wouldn't download anything from both in the meantime since this is super sketch overall

It's the newer versions onwards at least when it was updated in 2025 on itch that have that malware flag for some reason, running the public build from 2019 on steam should be clear. Funnily enough the itch version got updated literally today but I'd stay away from it personally, dev doesn't work on it anymore according to him and swapped to visual novels so I'm perplexed as to what is being changed, bizzare all around.

oddly enough this is bringing up a malware flag when checked and runs a bunch of processes that seemingly don't make sense for what should be an offline solo game
