That was a fun game. Controls/camera took a teeny tiny bit of getting used to, being behind the planet but I did get used to it. It was really well put together. Collecting the scientists. I did fail a few times. Thank you for the game!

That was a fun and very hard game. The squeak sound was super cute, but those guards have the ears of a bat! I kept getting caught. I particularly appreciated the two plushies stuck n the stocks at the start. The dungeon pack stills wows me to this day. So many uses and here, it worked perfectly. Thank you for the game.

Awesome! What a super original idea. I loved the randomness of it. And the bouncy bouncy sound effect of the doughnut was perfect. I liked the pink icing frame colour. I managed to escape with just the one hole thankfully. Although I did get eaten first time. Thanks for the cool game!

Wowsers! This was one tough little game! Those guards were very steely eyed. I managed to collect 4 or 5 items  each time, but it was tough. Really nice collectathon though. Ran smoothly. Thanks for the game!

A very atmospheric game. The music track was spot on. The gameplay was satisfying. The death animations were rather satisfying. The sound effects were really well picked. It all worked well together. Thank you for the game.

Thank you for checking the game out. The chips are for the three locked doors at the start of the game. Yellow/Red/Blue for the same coloured locked doors. A UI note appears on screen to ask you to look for the chips. You may have collected them all and therefore never saw the UI note. Thank you for the comments and thank you for playing.

Thank you so much for your comments. And thanks for noticing how the various packs meld together. You must really know your Synty asset packs! It's pretty cool to use different assets in different ways to create a whole themed  game brining them all together.

Ha...yes, that is a pretty brutal employee exit. :)

This game was really well put together. The map and environment was really well designed with great use of space and unique areas. The elements of the security lights and drones made this a challenge. I played through this numerous times but never managed to complete it. I will play again later and persevere.

A couple of things that would be cool to see:

-Add a small glow/particle effect to the collectables. You have to search for them anyway. I found myself hugging the walls to see when the UI might appear.

-With that in mind, perhaps add a sound effect to the UI triggers. Also increase the text size of the interact UI.

-Add in start game objectives. 'Open the gate from the security hut' or something and maybe add the glow/particle effect to the button in the security hut. This way, players at least immediately understand that when they see a similar glow/particle effect that there is a collectable nearby.

One tiny bug:
Once at the vault without the card, I decided to respawn back outside without having to crawl through the lasers again. As I did so, the 'Open the vault' UI remained onscreen and when encountering other UI triggers, none of them reacted, I assume because the vault UI was still visible?

Looking forward to replaying again. It's a game that I will happily revisit.
Thanks for the game.

A lovely game. Atmospheric environment and lighting. I love the glowing orb throwing mechanism. So pretty.
A very slight tweak to increase walking speed would be nice. Only a smidge as this is a chill game, but it would make movement feel more fluid. Lovely music too.

Thank you so much. Really glad that you liked it. Level design is my favourite part of game dev...not so good with menus and settings etc. Glad that you liked the environment, the light puzzling and the music. Thank you again for taking the time to play.

Thank you. I always use this controller (Easy Character Movement). It is a smooth controller with some nice features. Pleased that you enjoyed the game and dug the vibe. Thanks for playing!

Thank you for your comments. I am glad that you felt that the difficulty was well balanced. I never like to punish the player and make sure that there are plenty of respawns and checkpoints. Thank you for playing.

Thank you very much. Thanks for taking the time to play. I appreciate that.

Thank you for playing. Glad that everything worked properly. I did test it like crazy before uploading but there's always something I find. Glad that it all worked though. Thanks again.

Ha....at least you're honest. That said, I'd definitely take a sneaky peak too. In fact, I think most people might.
But thank you for playing and thank you for the nice comments and feedback.
Regarding the electro orbs (great name by the way), there are three checkpoints in that corridor to make it easy. I tend to shift run through the whole game.
And thanks for spotting the octopus. It's in a dead end room and so just an added bit of world building on my part. I always wanted a Synty octopus and after the new Pirate Realm teaser, maybe we'll get a proper one! Woo hoo!

I appreciate your comments, thank you.
A laser shark was one of the first things that I made when I used Unity for the first time about five years ago and so I thought it was about time to put one into a game now. Glad that you enjoyed it. Thank you.

Thank you very much. With all these games to play, it is appreciated. Glad that you enjoyed the game.

(1 edit)

Thank you. I always wanted to make a game featuring sharks with lasers! And here it is! Hurrah! Thank you for playing!

Thank you for playing and the nice comments. Yeah, I think I'm fine with the seeking aspect, not so much the Hide.
'Hide and avoid' maybe. :)
But thank you for playing and leaving a comment.

A very polished game. I'm amazed by all the menus and settings before the game itself. Very complete in all aspects. I loved seeing a whole map come to life. I've never seen that before and it looked and sounded alive. I guess that you could spread this across all kinds of maps and environments. Seasonal games and such. So well put together. It was a lot of fun to play.

I must admit, I felt a bit guilty slashing at townsfolk and the odd cop here and there. However, the could have been citizen drug dealers and crooked cops so I can live with it. Great atmosphere. Minimal music helped. Ominous feel. Great lighting, sparingly used. Fluid movements. Think I scored 18 citizen drug dealers and four crooked cops in total! :)

Very colourful and visually interesting. Something very cool about being in an elevated viewpoint. Cool sci-fi atmosphere. Great music track. Fun, smooth gameplay. Thanks for the game!

This was a very tough game. Those police beams are faster than I can control the vehicle. I really wanted to be able to drive on the kerb as sometimes the beams were grouped over the entire width of the road. Controls took a bit of getting used to, but I did. The car was slick and fun to slide from side to side, evading the beams as much as I could. The highest number of  money bags I could collect was three. Fun to play. Thanks for the game!

This was a fun game. I liked the mystical atmosphere that it had, using the moon, fog, crystals and the natural collectables. I liked using the moon beam as a means of locating the night-time collectables. I think the monster got stuck at the top of the steps, at the back, on the right hand side but actually, I quite liked this because it allowed me a more chill game experience without having to run around too much. Thank you for the game.

A super atmospheric game. A lot of fun. The music added suspense. Lots of notes to read and the main three collectables to find. It really encourages you to explore the whole map. Speaking of the map, I did fall off the map a few times, but the respawn  worked nicely. The big pink library warden was nicely nightmarish too. Thanks for the game.

I loved this game. Surprisingly hard. Quite addictive. I must have played it twenty plus times already. Really nice and fun to play. I like the detail that euthanising the crew, reveals a super cursed 'Blood Moon'. Very cool. A great idea.

That was a very cool game. Lots of fun. Very polished too. Lots of options to control cameras and catch the thief! Luckily, I seeked the thief first time! Woo hoo! Very satisfying. He looked so dodgy. I could totally see this game developed into different museums, banks, galleries etc. I'd buy it. Again, lots of fun. Thanks for the game.

This was a really polished game. A fun spy theme will lots to do. The intro briefing, text, everything was in keeping with the spy theme and helped world build and create a real atmosphere. This could really grow into something very cool that I would certainly buy. There's so much to do and I can see how much work went into implementing these tasks and  mechanics. A lot of fun. Thank you for the game.

One minor bug:
In the room opposite the server room, next to the lounge area (the room with a fan, shelves. The player can get trapped and unable to move. If stood next to the table and pressing 'E' the door opens and traps the player against the table. So, maybe slide the table a little to the left.

This was fun. I got caught a few times. But I did deliver two pizzas and escaped two times! Hurrah!

The pizza delivery catcher baddie was very fast. I could totally see this being developed into different houses, layout. Important thing, the game works as is and I can see some cool potential should you develop it further. Thanks for the game!

This was a really fun game (and it was cool to see Polygon - Fantasy Village up close). I really liked the glowing collectables and the fact that you can see their location wherever you are in the level. I enjoyed testing the bounds of the environment, jumping on buildings and  stone walls etc. The playable character was super cute and it all had such a cosy vibe. Thank you for the fun!

This was a fun game and I liked the ease of hiding in the rubbish bins (of which there were thankfully many). I did manage to escape, twice, having only been spotted three times. I enjoyed exploring the confines of the environment. And made the mistake of exploring the subway stairway....ooopsy! Still, it was cool to replay and complete the game. Thanks for the fun!

There's a lot of word building with lore and narrative here, which really helps to create a world outside of what we can see. it reminds me of a game version of the Fighting Fantasy, choose your own adventure books form the 80's. I really appreciated the pirate setting, the in-keeping fonts and language used. I can see a bigger game over time and you may choose to develop further. A great game jam entry. Thank you for the game!

This was a fun game to play. Exploring a large mansion with connecting rooms, corridors and exterior. I appreciated the level design and layout, offering multiple doors to try. There's a completionist element, where you want to see what's behind each door, even if it's just storage for furniture or an empty room. I found a key, but was unable to open the locked door. Maybe I needed more than one key? I liked that jumping on the beds was a good way to avoid the seeking enemies....either that, or I was just lucky.

This was a really well put together game. The controls were smooth and the gameplay was fun. It looked very pretty with a lovely colour palette and choice of prefabs and particle effects.  With the menus and in-game prompts, it had a very polished feel. Thank you for making the game.

This game was right up my street. The Egyptian setting and the Indiana Jones/Tomb Raider vibe was very cool. They Shadow mechanic is fabulous. I've never seen that in a game before. Cool, puzzling and booby traps. A real atmosphere to this game. Lack of a reset or menu at present but I was happy to force quit and load the game again because it was really fun and I wanted to explore other areas. If this were developed into a full game, I would totally buy it. Thanks for making the game.

Bug report:
Speaking to Anubis. C button does not close the chat box and return to game. It was stuck.
Visiting the scales after collecting the heart, the chat box didn't close as well

I enjoyed this. There is something rather satisfying about zapping alien invaders disguised as bushes, boxes or furniture. How very dare they try to take over our Synty town! As has already been mentioned, the mouse was a smidge too sensitive and in general, the visuals can be developed and built upon, but the essential gameplay is there and it was satisfying. Maybe an option to run and walk would be cool.  Lighting, particle effects for the gun etc, but all of this can be worked on. Ultimately, a super fun game. Thank you for making it.

Whoa! This was like the Synty Silent Hill!

As a cameraman myself, I enjoyed taking pictures from low angles, the rule of thirds and all that...but, oh my, you sent a shiver down my spine when I saw what I saw. Firstly, I saw a glimpse and thought it might have been an anomaly, and then the spine tingling truth of what the player captures through the lens! Is it the place? The player? or the camera.

One tiny request would be an option to walk faster but this might have been a gameplay decision. A hugely atmospheric game, with the buildings stretching into the mist. Maybe 'developed' (no pun intended) so that the camera captures images from a list, or locations, points of interest? Very cool though. Thanks for the game.

This game was a lot of fun. The music and sounds were really nice. The crash sounds were really satisfying and the church bell was cool. Fun gameplay, not too punishing. Find all of the regen hearts and coins and delivering them to the orphanage. Very cool. Nice controls for a car game too. Thanks for the fun!

This was a lot of fun and I would totally buy a game like this. At first, I was expecting some Christmassy music but actually, when the funky track starts it just works so well. The controls and gameplay were really nice. Good difficulty level too as well as placement of the collectables. A small request, perhaps consider making the gifts have no collider because I got stuck between them when placed in the drop zone, this meant that I got hung up and caught by the pumpkins.  I made it to level five but the last gift didn't register in the drop zone. A lot of fun though and you could create some really pretty levels for this game.

A very cute bouncing box sold me within a few moments. Cool to see the dungeon setting and the themed characters. As you mentioned in the comments, it would have been nice to snack on adventurers.  A fun project to develop. Thank you for the game.
